Perfect little hometown diner. Cutest inside, decorated for the season. Food was amazing and the amount of food you get for... the price was on point. If you are in a rush, this is not the place to go. Once seated it does take a minute to get served andthe food took a little while. But overall, Great place to sit and relax. Update: I have seen and heard the reviews that are less than stellar but have never had any major issue until today. We ordered... a patty melt minus onions and texas toast substituted for rye. (Yes, I realize she ordered a glorified cheeseburger lol). Ittook quite some time to receive our food and then everything went downhill from there. The bill for hers was the cost of thepatty melt PLUS 2 side orders charged. We expected to be charged for the fries but when I questioned the additional "side order"fee, I was told it was for the texas toast substitution...using that logic, I should have gotten a discount as we did not usetheir onions! (Sarcasm) I ordered a small chicken fried steak with salad and baked potato. My potato was so cold the cheesedidn't even pretend to melt so back it went to the kitchen. Finally get my potato returned as I am mostly finished with my CFS.When I looked at the ticket, I also was charged a side order fee. I questioned why and I reminded her that my entree came with 2sides and was told "that is just how she does it". Not sure who "she" is....if it is Ms Jerry or not. I am so disappointed as wehave had minor issues but nothing like today and we always take friends and family there when they come to the lake.
