I mean, open your aperture and be willing to do something COMPLETELY different. Be ready to drive to the middle of nowhere, then... another 45 minutes past that. The experience was quirky, whimsical, once in a lifetime, and also a nice little weekend event todo as a family. Once is enough, so do everything the first time you go, and have lunch to drive the experience home. Bring cash.Buy a souvenir so you remember the day (I recommend Christmas ornaments). Read more
Had a wonderful day trip outing, Visiting Solomon's Castle. Walked around the premises, took in the beautiful scenery and... enjoyed a nice tranquil dinner on the Boat on the Moat. The staff was friendly and they even have a cute little gift shop. Allin all a Very inspirational destination. Read more
This is a great place to stop when traveling off the beaten path in Florida. I wish they would allow pics from the inside... because descriptions will not do it justice. Weird, unique, eclectic... see not good enough. At least I can tell you the foodat the 'Boat' was tasty and the portions are not small. If you have a few hours, definitely check it out! Read more
The place is absolutely amazing. Unfortunately you cannot take pictures inside of the castle so you don't get to see all of the... wild and amazing things the man has made here. It is definitely worth a trip out to see them all. Read more

The first time I went here I was so impressed I took my parents Sunday, father's day, they were not impressed. Arrived and got... tickets my mom and I waited at castle gate for tour for 30 minutes. No employees in sight, if they wore some kind of shirtidentifying themselves would be so helpful. A small wooden clock saying "next tour starts at:" would have been way more helpful.With no information, Said forget it and went got our money back. Some organization here would make for a much more pleasantvisitor experience. Barbara was great as guide in the car barn the guys went to. Food is served quick and everyone enjoyed it. Read more
