Good food. My sister was not happy at all. Hairs in her pancake. Gave it back. I have to say I am not seeing hairnets on emoyees... working in the kitchen and working with food. Who wants to eat where the chefs have long hair in there face. Read more
We arrived and were seated, and they took our order rather quickly. But then we sat there completely ignored for the next two... hours. No one came to check on us or inform us they were short staffed or to see if we needed more coffee or anything. It tookus asking for the check after watching at least three tables come in and get served before us. Waitress offered excuses and cutme off when I tried to say I wouldn't have been as frustrated if they'd informed us of the wait or had at least stopped by andchecked on us once in the two plus hours we were there. Mary was awesome tonight. This location always takes great care of us, and food is always fresh and hot. Manager had a ton of... delivery orders and was still taking care of in house customers. Thanks again, we will be back. Read more
I have always had a good experience at this Village Inn until tonight. The manager on duty on the night of 8-3-2022 after 8pm... was unprofessional and rude to my grandchildren that requested a children's menu because he assumed they were not 10 or younger.2 were, 2 were not. I have never heard of an age limit before. Is it the policy of Village Inn to question the ages of theircustomers who want crayons and kids' menus, if so, are we now required to provide birth certificates as proof? The waitress wasvery nice, we had no problem with the rest of the staff. We are running short of decent restaurants in Omaha, this one justfell off the list for me. Read more
Me and my kids love village Inn I always get the normal but my son wanted to try something different he loves steak so he... ordered the chop steak usually the manager would go around and ask how your meal? But no ever did so I called the manager overand said my son doesn't like this can he just get a burger he only took one bite of the food he said that peculiar I said what'speculiar about it well he ordered it and I said he doesn't like it, I diffently was ready to go try to make the best of it withmy kids, but did not feel welcome at all, it's it peculiar because I'm black I just said give us something else never said Iwasn't going to pay, the waitress was nice but could tell she felt uncomfortable because I said can I get something else I Willsay choose your words wisely when you around people and there kids, will go somewhere else, manager needs to be retrain incustomer service Read more

First off they lovely lady rudely set our food on the table with our tab like how did you know we didn't want anything else,... causing my friend to say oh wow. Then I ordered the chopped steak, which is not chopped into pretty squares like you chop steak.No, it's a patty. Glad they didn't charge me. I could tell the lady was irritated but she took it off my tab. My friend and Ilooked at each other and left. It was obvious we weren't welcome. Read more
