Absolutely ridiculous experience. I?m surprised they have over 1 star reviews. This was a corporate company order and we try to... support small business and stay away from the chains but I guess. It anymore. Called 2 days in advance asking if they can do anorder for 11 people in the next two days. The person on the phone said yeah, I guess I can give it to them in the mnot sounddconfident. I said I noticed delivery on the website and they said no but Grub Hub can do it. I said okay: I made the orderthrough Grub Hub within 24 hour notice. Grub Hub said restaurant will confirm order at 11:28 am to be delivered at 12:15. Got 3e-mail updates that everything was confirmed and good to go and driver was selected and then 15 minutes before the scheduleddelivery the order was cancelled!!! No explanation, no reason. I understand it could have been Grub Hub but no communicationfrom restaurant or Grub Hub. I?m leading a team of 11 managers and a company owner that either just flew in to Omaha or drove 5hours that we don?t have lunch!!!! Do NOT TRUST this restaurant. We actually walked across the street to Jersey Mike?s-theygave us incredible fast service, I gave them a $40 TIP and they said they know about Star Deli and they close really early orwhenever they feel like it and never operate on the hours listed. Wow! Pretty embarrassing for Star Deli. You just lost a bigcontract and a ton of $$$$ in tips! Read more
