Sweet atmosphere!! Would never guess by the outside but very classy on the inside. It feels like you step back in time. Ambiance... was almost perfect- set with Edison bulbs, candles and big band music in the background not to mention great drinks! Thebartender, Jeremy, was also super fun and interesting! Def gonna start to frequent this place. Drinks are slightly higher pricesbut totally worth it. The Only negative: this kind of classy joint shouldn't have TV's IMO. Or 1 at most. Proof is the perfect spot for a crafted cocktail. They have a great selection of bourbon and scotch with extremely talented... mixologists behind the bar. If you?re looking for a boozy, well crafted cocktail - this is the place to be. It is fun to watchthe mixologists climb the latter and create intricate cocktails. The mixologists are all great here! Jeremy is quite thecharacter! No matter who helps you, it is always such great service. They have large round booths so you can bring a biggergroup or take a date and enjoy a cozy evening. From the outside it is so unassuming but once you?re inside the atmosphere is socool, classy and energetic. The inside is so beautiful and cozy - the music is so on point and makes everything cometogether. They also have a great patio for the warmer nights! We went out to a bar called Proof in Omaha for a friend?s birthday. There?s a huge selection of scotch to choose from and there... mixed drinks are tasty and they have a good beer menu as well. I had the house Old Fashion for $5. It was not bad but also notthe best I?ve had. I would probably order a different one the next time just to see the difference but I?d still order this one.They have a very small selection of food to choose from as it is not a restaurant but an actual bar. The music was fun andsounded like you were in a Speak Easy. The bartenders were dressed up in suit vests which made the feel of the bar even morelike something from the roaring 20s. They were polite and attentive. Even the owner visited our table and was sociable with us.This was a very pleasant experience and I would definitely go back. Read more
I'm in love with this place. If you like incredibly flavorful, boozy drinks, THIS is your place! We tried several of the "house"... cocktails on the menu and we were blown away by them all. (And between me and my friend, we tried several of the drinks) alsoliked their hummus and spinach dip apps to munch on. The atmosphere and the ambience of the place was awesome too!
