Just spent almost $70 at this place on a 20 piece tender family meal the chick that the windows told us they didn't have it read... it right off the menu board. The complete our order we would have to wait we get home and our order is nothing but stale oldhangers and of course the phone just rings and rings and rings and you can't leave a message because this place is trash thepeople there can't even articulate the complete sentence together I don't know why I expected them to get my order correctgosomewhere else. 1 star because with fast food there are 3 things people expect. 1, is to receive the order they placed, 2, fresh food 3. Swift... order times. I was the only person in line. I ordered and they took the order quickly and when they read it back to me, it wascorrect! Received my order and went to my next destination. I opened the box and took a bite, Nothing was fresh and I did NOTreceive spicy as I had ordered. They did 1 out of the 3 things, thus my rating of 1 star. They have got to do better. Read more
I was getting Chicken Tenders for friend who is 92 years. And I got a 8 piece family box for myself. The staff at 40th & Dodge... St. Everyone was so nice. And had really nice clean Orange Popeye shirts. They were representing their company. Keep doing anexcellent job! And keep smiling even if you get busy. Read more
First time trying the sandwich. Amazing. I was visiting a Navy buddy in Omaha, I flew from SoCal, and I don't know why I waited... so long to try it. I hope it tastes the same when I order it back home. Now I am not to fond of the mash potatoes with thechicken flavor light yellow in color. It really didn't go, in my opinion, with the mash potatoes. But since it was in Omaha, andI am not used to the cutting cold weather, I sucked it up and ate it, (hotel kitchen was closed, I'm a SoCal native man!). Lol! Read more
I'll start by saying the menu board was not working. Fortunately for me I've ate at Popeyes all across the United States so i... already knew what I wanted. I Ordered a 5 piece BLACKENED strip meal. I've ordered it 100 times before, I know exactly what toexpect when I order that meal. Usually .... Tonight I got plain naked strips. I took it to the counter and showed them and toldthem that I ordered Blackened strips and got these instead. They looked at me blankly and then asked what was wrong with them. Iexplained that my strips were not Blackened. The lady literally looked at me and said "so you want them cooked until they'reblack?" Good lord. After almost a full minute of explaining to her what "Blackened " meant she finally brought a cook up to talkto me. I explained to him and finally he offered to remake them after admitting he also didn't see an issue with the strips inmy box. Staff was not very trained about their menu. We were also served Mac and cheese that was "dead" in restaurant terms. Itwas not appropriate to be served. Definitely expired. Will never return to this location. Slow, most lazy fast food joint in the area. And if you habe been to 40th st McDonald's thats saying something. The chicken is... alway dry, and old, had good biscuits 1 time, and side are always cold.... dont waste your time. Read more
