Super long wait time for an average Philly. They have closed self-service sauces and didn't feel like the cleanest restaurant,... which if I go to a chain, I expect it to at least have that down. I am guessing it was staffing issues, and I get the challengebeing faced. If I wasn't there with others, I would have gone somewhere else. Read more

Price was up there, however good fries (I asked without salt) and the sandwich was worth the 30 minute down and back walk. Staff... were friendly and even raced outside when I dropped something during checkout to return it. Very appreciated. I?d recommend thetrip to check them out! Read more
Taste so good with lots of steak and vegetables. Within all the restaurants at Old Market.

I've been to PepperJax in the Old Market about five times. Today I stopped in for a Steak Bowl. The cook seemed to get a bit... confused when I asked for no onions and then proceeded to put way too many peppers in the mix. When I sat down and began eatingmy first bite was all peppers. it was way too hot and overpower the flavor of the dish. I do like a little bit of spicy Heat butthis was extreme. I picked thru and removed all the peppers and it turned out to be quite tasty. An observation I noticed theemployee demographics are quite different here than the west Omaha location. Here it seems to mainly men with long hair andbeards. With the food preparers having so much hair I was a bit concerned about the cleanliness of my food. Anyway. Overall itwas a good lunch meal.
