The food was great (what I could order anyway)... Wife wanted a Bloody Mary, but couldn't get one cause they were out of the... mix. I wanted Nachos (but they were out of those too). How can you be out of Nachos at a Mexican restaurant. So, I orderedthe Barbacos, yep, out of those too. Finally, got lucky with the rolled chicken tacos. They were good, but with a limitedmenu, not really what I wanted. Also had to ask for more water, which was weird, since everyone else who came in got a waterbottle at their table, and we had to ask for it. Doubt we'll be back. Read more
If you?re looking for a new favorite Mexican restaurant?you just found it. The atmosphere is so fun (although like most... restaurants in Omaha the music is a bit too loud). The menu is small and concise and the food is just amazing. On your firstvisit you should definitely try the dip flight. Their queso is incredible! If you don?t want pico then you can always sub for adifferent kind of salsa. When you walk in they are always busy so you might feel weird standing at the front but they willeventually come and seat your group! I would say they have some of the best margaritas in town! Mula is such a fun place! The interior atmosphere, choice of seating (by the windows - open on nice days, interior, and back... patio), kitschy decorations, interesting music playing, and attentive servers. And the food - no bad choices! From street cornto starters to street tacos, everything is good! Their queso is my favorite in Omaha. We've been here a bunch of times and willcontinue to return. Happy hour is Monday all day and Tue-Fri from 2-6pm for special deals. Definitely try the street tacos, butthe crispy rolled tacos are great too. So many things to try! They also have an impressive tequila selection and their housemargaritas are reasonably priced and very good.
