Went after the lunch crowd, so it was pretty empty. Thought this place would be ok, but I turned out to have had, one of the... best ?simple? sandwiches I?ve had. The bread was so soft, all the ingredients tasted and looked fresh. When I?m in town again,this definitely will be a staple. Delicious! Read more
My daughter and I used to meet here several times a year for lunch together. After visiting last Wednesday, we both came to the... same conclusion.... that was our last time. We were in love with their Rubens, but these were awful. The meat was all driedout and flavorless, the sauce had no taste whatsoever. Good food had a French dip and the meat was good quality and good flavor. Bun was toasted and overall was happy with my order.... Fairly busy over the lunch hour.. calling ahead would be a decent idea (but not a must) if you're in a hurry. Price was decentfor a non chain restaurant.. figure on around an 8-10 dollar lunch. Manhattan Deli offers great soups and sandwiches in the downtown area. This is a very overlooked place to eat. I've never once... been disappointed, nor have I ever noticed a large crowd that you might find at other eateries in downtown. There is plenty ofseating and it is easy to get to. Definitely worth checking out for a quick, cheap bite to eat for lunch. Read more
