Reviews for Hog Wild Pit Bar-B-Q in Omaha, NE
The food was ok but the ribs were a bit dry. I will try again. Prices were pretty decent for the meal and the area was clean .... The workers were pretty friendly and helpful. Read more
We ordered just the meat for a gathering at our home. We ordered pulled pork and chicken for sandwiches. Both were tender and... delicious. The hot and regular sauces were also great. The only issue we had was there were a lot of pieces of bone in thechicken, which made it a bit difficult to eat since we didn?t want to swallow any bones (especially children). Read more
The 2 men who served our family yesterday were very nice. They remembered my brother and mom after they had been there like... once. I wish I got their names! I also wish I took pictures of the food but it was too delicious to last very long. The portionsizes are generous given the price. We assumed the cooking is done slowly over time because the meat was tender and we barelywere able to walk to the nearest table before it came out. Read more
It was good and fast. It reminds me of Dickeys. We had the ribs and brisket. Plenty juicy. They had watermelon sweet tea and two... kinds of bbq sauce. Decent price. Read more

Stopped there for a dinner. The ribs were amazing! Cooked to perfection. Liked my sides too. The place was almost empty at 5pm.... Mostly customers order takeouts. There were a few parties dining in. Could find a table to sit far away. Read more
We visited on February 4, 2021. We were in the area running an errand and decided to drive through and order some food. This was... our first visit and we let the cashier know that we would be a minute as we checked out the menu before placing our order. Wewere feeding four adults and a 14-year-old? So we decided to go with the family feast plus order a variety of sides so we couldtaste many items. The family feast included a full rack of ribs, 1 pound of meat, three sides and four rolls. The four rolls areRotella hamburger buns. I thought they were actually rolls. For the 1 pound of meat we chose the brisket. You cannot choosepoint or flat, as it is chopped brisket. For the three sides that came with the meal, we chose all three sides as their bakedbeans. We also ordered a quart of potato salad, mac & cheese and potatoes and gravy. We ordered four extra rolls, againbelieving they were just dinner rolls. At the bottom of the sign they mention that they had smoked ham by the pound. So wedecided to try a pound of sliced smoked ham. We asked for extra mild sauce on the side and our order came to just over$101. Now, the verdict. Nobody was very happy with the meal across the board. First, the ribs, chopped brisket and sliced hamwere all very dry. The slices of ham had dried up burnt edges like you see if you put it in the microwave to heat it and you letit cook too long. The chopped brisket was pretty much inedible, even soaking it in lots of sauce and making it into a sandwich. The ribs were so tender the bones fell right out, but they were also dry. Especially if you were eating end pieces and not acouple of bones from the center. Another thing we noticed about these ribs was that they were full of cartilage. We?ve neverseen so much cartilage and fat on a rack of ribs. Ribs are usually my favorite portion of a meal and I did not even eat morethan a couple of bites. The mac & cheese resembles a less cheesy version of KFC mac & cheese. Very mushy and lacking Read more
They have fantastic ribs! I also love their mashed potatoes. They are probably instant but they taste great. And the service is... always very fast on Door Dash. Read more
