Stopped here as a surprise ad my first choice restaurant was closed. It was a good choice I like beef noodle soup and I try... them when I find them in new places. Hip Bao’s beef noodle soup was good. The beef was cut differently than others I havehad. The beef was thinly sliced versus bigger chunks usually associated with Chinese beef noodle soup. The soup itself was abit salty to my taste but that may be personal. The soup had a hint is spiciness to it, which was good. I also got the beefbao. Honestly I was not impressed with it. There was too much bread compared to the filling. The bread was also uneven -thick at the top and really thin on the bottom. Still, it’s not bad for a small place. I go here at-least once a week or every other week. Every time I go there and walk up to the counter they already know what... I’m ordering. From a guy who lived in Japan for two years nothing gets better than this. The Noodles are homemade and thedough as well. Everything tastes great and very authentic. Its sad that most times I go in I see more people walk into JimmyJohn’s. People definitely need to try new food. Read more
Everytime I visit Omaha I come to Hip Bao. The food is always hot and tastes so fresh. I very much enjoy the juicy pork... potstickers and pork egg rolls. I noticed they added crab Rangoon to the menu so I gave those a try recently and was notdisappointed. They were fantastic. Such a good place to finally try Bao. Loved the Steamed Pork Bao, juicy pork dumplings and crab Rangoon all made fresh.... Definitely will go again to try the noodle dishes. Read more
We ordered two different orders of Bao ,Potstickers and Noodles.The nais was ok but the noodles were good.
Food was made fresh after we ordered and it was so delicious. Only thing that put me off was they had two small children in the... dining area doing school work and the older one, I'd say around 10 years old, was taking orders and waiting tables! I felt sorrythis kid had to do this but he was the sweetest and most polite kid. Read more
