We went to see the world cup game between the United States and England. A fabulous atmosphere. Good service. A spectacular... terrace, with heaters for the cold. The parking lot was too small for so many people. Read more

After doing a bodybuilding show, my first priority is finding delicious food. Bärchen beer garden is where I wound up and I... must admit, the food was delicious! I enjoyed being able to eat outside on a perfect fall day, the tables were well placed andthe outside area was clean and orderly. There was a soccer game going on at the time which seemed to be enjoyed thoroughly bythe patrons. I wasn’t there for the game but I still enjoyed the friendly atmosphere and the food to go with! The Ruebensandwich was well balanced with strong flavors without any single ingredient being overpowering and the fries were extremelytasty. The pretzels were quite good as well although the traditional twist was a bit over cooked and wound up more pretzelstick crunch level then the normal bite outside abs soft inside. Accompanied with mustard and beer cheese, both were wonderfuladditions to both types of pretzel. Read more

Best burgers in town, hands down. German beer selection is fantastic. Great ambiance and beer garden.

Were in Omaha and did a search for dog friendly restaurant/bar and this came up. Glad we went. The staff was very helpful... getting our dog water, setting up an umbrella and getting a fan going in the outside area. Oh, and the food was great. Had thepretzel and another appetizer - excellent. Got a kale salad and my son got burger and fries- everything was great. Read more

This used to be one of my favorite spots for a beer and a meal. I’m not sure if they have new management, but on my last... couple of visits the service has left a lot to be desired. I understand many places are struggling with staffing, but theproblem with the service here is more than lack of staff. We waited 15 minutes for a server to acknowledge us and then wentinside where the server was just standing at the bar. We were told to head back out and our order would be taken. Our drinksfinally arrived after 25 minutes. We ordered an appetizer and two meals which came out all at once and was all cold. We askedfor silverware and sauces and did not receive them. When we finished we had to track down our server to close out. I’ve beenmany other places that have been short staffed and have been able to handle it. Save your money and go somewhere else. Went in after traveling all day as the first restaurant on our Omaha vacation. When we got there we were offered a food menu and... an option to sit inside or out. We chose to sit outside. Our server took our drink and appetizer order in a fairly timelyfashion but never returned with our daughters drinks or our waters, just the beers. After getting our appetizer and waiting andwaiting for our server to come back for our food order I finally had my partner go inside as it was 8 and we had a hungrytoddler with us. They informed us for the first time the kitchen was actually closed. We were never informed upon arriving orordering our appetizer that the kitchen was nearing close. The staff inside were super kind and allowed us to order which is theonly reason this wasn’t a one star experience. Unfortunately the food was pretty sub par as well and the service continued toget worse. For $16 I expected the chicken on the salad to be more than just frozen soggy chicken tenders from the kids menu.I’ve had better salads at Wendy’s to be honest. The burgers were greasy and definitely didn’t seem like the high qualitymeat that’s advertised on the menu. After only bringing out half our order the server abruptly told us he was “headingout” and asked if we needed anything else. We politely notified him we’d like the rest of our food and asked if we needed abill to pay or if we just would go up to the bar when we were done since he hadn’t brought one and we had never eaten therebefore so we weren’t sure of protocol. He replied “it was fine because all the tips were shared”…I further explained Istill wasn’t sure who to pay or how to know how much we owed. We eventually got everything we ordered and the bill but we feltrobbed of $80 we felt would have been better spent on fast food. Read more

Excellent food! The loaded fries, Reuben, little Birdy chicken sandwich and Nashville hot chicken were all awesome. The... sauerkraut on the Reuben was seriously good. The pickles were clearly homemade. Little sad they didn't have the schnitzel, butquickly got over it. 5 stars! Thank you for the great lunch! Read more

This is a German Beer Garden, or just a beer garden that has a lot of German beer. Nonetheless, they have a lot of beer and... other drinks. If I was judge and jury of beer gardens, this place would get 6 stars. We, however, went into the place to eat. First things first, you will need to put a card on tab up front....or at your table. Leave it open as there are certain thingslike a tip, or another can of soda, that you will want to pay for without pulling your card back out. Nonetheless, read themenu and ingredients on each of the burgers and sandwiches. If you pick and choose your ingredients, you will make awesomechoices. I had a "Smooth Criminal" minus pickles and onions. WOW. I mean the sauces on this thing was amazing. The fries, theycould be better, but the burgers, got to have one. Remember, pick and choose your ingredients. Daughter had a chicken sandwichminus pickles, onions and jalapenos. She loved it. They have excellent pretzels...pretty authentic. Now, the sausages andschnitzel are on the menu but they don't have them. The waitress said they don't serve them anymore. Better check before you godown if you are only wanting sausage or schnitzel. The environment, pretty nice. I took pics of the inside. The back beergarden is pretty nice. I took away a star for a few things. The fries appear store bought. You can tell a lot about a joint bytheir fries. The missing sausage and schnitzel. If they are on the menu, then serve them. TVs. They had lots of TVs but theHobbit was playing on one. The Office was playing on another, yet international soccer games were going on. Also, water wasserved in little plastic cups...not much bigger than a Dixie cup...so bring us a pitcher to help refill the water. Pop in cans(?), I don't know. Fix a few things and it's a 5 star. Anyway, I like the staff and the place was neat and clean. The price, upper side but you get a burger or sandwhich you haven't tasted before. I'd go back without hesitation. Read more
