I usually order a chicken enchiladas meal light on the heat / red sauce with another order of full nachos plate?Upon opening 1st... meal there was only 2 enchiladas & nothing else no beans no rice. So I proceeded to open the nachos, tons of meat but light oncheese & barely anything else no sour cream ect. very disappointed. Never here again better to make the drive to 90th locationor an alternative just run over to Iowa Juventino?s on Broadway better Mexican take out & much more for the money thenhere???????????????????????? We just got in from a long flight from Puerto Rico. It was around 3am. No other eatery is open at this time in North Omaha, so... we popped in got some very delicious food and ate it at home. We eat here about once or twice a month. That's how we knew itwas open after 12 am. Read more
I ordered 2 items on the menu and it was over 20 dollars. That includes no drink, when I ordered I asked the cashier how much... was my order but he ignored me When I pulled uo to the window and charged me $20 1 item was 8 dollars and the other 3 dollars,there is no way my order would have been at least 15 dollars Read more
Great food! My favorite is their California burrito. I also like to order their cheese dip with chips. The cheese dip is a bit... runny, but still very tasty. They have lots of good things to choose from. This particular location is open until 3am mostnights and 24 hours on Fridays and Saturdays. Read more
Update 11/14/21: this used to be the best bang for your buck Mexican food before the pandemic but now I can't bring myself to... eat at the Ames location. Food always has way too much black pepper and the bacon is always completely raw. It feels like when Iorder a bacon and egg burrito they cook the raw bacon and eggs at the same time and just slap it all into the tortilla once theeggs are done, instead of having the bacon precooked and warming it on the flattop alongside the eggs. I used to SWEAR this was the best location? until last night. First of all we waited in the drive through for what seemed like... 20 minutes. I ordered 2 quesadillas and 2 queso cheese cups and an order of beans and rice. The cheese was SOUR, lumpy andgrainy. It was so gross???? like it was super old or something. The beans and rice tasted burnt and watered down. Also sincewhen did the rice have carrots in it? Didn?t even taste the same. And the quesadillas barely had beef in them. I?m highly upsetand disappointed about this because I order the exact same thing EVERYTIME I come and it?s never been like this. Went for a carner asada burrito and a shrimp and asada burrito. They gave me nothing but asada in the burrito. No shrimp in my... shrimp and burrito taco.No rice as requested and were rude also $30 for 2 basic burritos and horchata. Also tried to call phonewas off the hook. Read more
