My first visit to Boston Harbor Marina, a hidden gem in Olympia, WA. They had a live band play music on the outdoor area. We... ordered dinner from the restaurant and they gave us a notification device when our food was ready, we walked back to thesailboat. The food we ordered was delicious. Rented 4 kayaks for 3 hours to tool around in Boston Harbor. Process was easy and straightforward. Made the reservation via... phone, we arrived and went into the store, they told us where to get life jackets and paddles then sent us down to get ourkayaks. Views were beautiful. Highly recommend. The marina is nice, but the snack shack restaurant is a complete rip off. Food was way overpriced and took forever to receive.... It was subpar at best. $18 for a glorified grilled cheese sandwich and fries that was thin and had nothing on it. Read more

I feel lucky to live in such a special little corner of Washington. Boston Harbor is only 8 miles from the heart of downtown... Olympia. This is a local favorite, super popular in the summertime. You can rent kayaks and paddle boats. Grab all your suppliesyou need for fishing. We love coming out for a day trip as it isn't far from our home. People need to remember though that thisis a residential area where people live. So be respectful of where you park your cars. If you visit the store don't park indriveways or block people. Read more
