First time in Olympia, visiting relatives and wanted an authentic cuisine that is unique to the area. Got there for an early... dinner. Was surprised it was very warm up inside. Took the waiter 5 minutes to even get to our table with only 2 other tablesseated in the restaurant. Bottle of wine and food came out quickly. The braised lamb was moist, tender and very filling. Neededmuch more sauce... The pasta with boar meat was fantastic. Noodles were fresh with an excellent flavor. Lasagna was also homemade and well seasoned. Wow!!! The pasta may have looked boring but holy cow did it taste amazing, so many layers of flavor!! The braised pork was... delicious too and the dessert was awesome! The waitress was super kind and helpful. My only only complaint is the calamari couldhave been a bit crispier but it was a lovely experience and I will definitely want to come back! Read more
Came here on a surprise visit for our second anniversary and thoroughly enjoyed a tasting menu with wine pairing. Every course... was an absolute feast for the senses and the owner himself described the meal in all its particulars. An absolute delight fromstart to finish. Excellent little Italian spot with great hand-made pastas and a entree dishes. They have a nice selection of Italian wines and... spirits as well. There are plenty of gluten-free options including GF pastas and bread. Braised short ribs were excellent aswell as the polenta. Staff is very friendly. We went on a Tuesday night and it got rather busy in this cozy little restaurant.Be patient as you may have to wait a little. We will be back! Read more

Absolutely phenomenal service, atmosphere and food! Went on a date on a whim with the boyfriend and was not disappointed. The... drinks were fantastic, the owner was attentive and extremely helpful in helping us figure out what to eat on his incrediblyappetizing menu. We started with the charcuterie and not only was it beautiful, but it was as tasty as it looked. The appetizerbread was warm and soft, and he offered to bring us more whenever. We had a couple drinks of his recommendation, and he helpedus narrow down our options on the menu. I got the ragu while boyfriend got the pheasant ... the ragu was great, but boy do Iwish I got the pheasant! I'll definitely be back to order it myself. I honestly cannot remember a time when I enjoyed a meal so thoroughly, especially with my gluten allergies. Normally, eating out... involves playing twenty questions with the server, and either still eating with hyper vigilance for any sign of a reaction, orresigning myself to a bowl of lettuce, maybe with a tomato if I'm very lucky. But not here, for not only is the main menu veryclear about what is & isn't able to be served gluten-free, but so is the dessert menu, the vast majority of which I could enjoy. They even brought out gluten-free bread for me to eat at the table, one with my own dish of dipping oil. I cannot tell you ifI've ever had that anywhere else, and as an added bonus, it was also delicious. Honestly, the whole meal was delicious,reminding me of my Nonna's family dinners from when I was little. Watching my husband'a eyes light up with revelation as hetook his first bite of fresh pasta was a delight. But nothing prepared me for the dessert. Leave room for a bit, split theplate with someone, take a quick jog around the block if you have to, but do not skip the dessert, you'll only be doing yourselfa disservice. I cannot recommend this place strongly enough, especially to anyone with a gluten-free diet or gluten allergiesthat still wants to enjoy their meal.
