We arrived at 5:40 for the ?Early Bird Special ? & was seated at the Hibachi table by a young waitress. A Mexican man (LOL) must... have been a chef since he tried to light it with no success & he left. He comes back with a lighter in his hand to light thetable. We wait some more then an older waitress comes to us to tell us another party had made a reservation 2 wks ago for 6:00pm & did we mind waiting for them to arrive? We said ?No? & was seated in another room at a table with the promise of gettingthe ?Early Bird Special ? . We waited awhile to have our order taken. Meanwhile 2 other couples had been seated after us & hadalready received their drink order. We hadn?t even been asked for our order yet. So we flagged down the older waitress whoseated us in this area to inform her 2 other couples had been seated after us but received their drinks before us. Sheapologized for the young waitress (said she was new) & instead of taking our order she sends over the young waitress who takesour order but seemed to be confused! A few minutes later our drinks were served. A few more minutes later our food was served.We both ordered Chicken & Steak hibachi dinner w/ vegetables & fried rice w/ extra garlic butter & asked for our steak to becooked medium well. When we were served both the steak & chicken were dried out. The rice w/extra garlic butter ( the ricetasted bland!) Our salad was all white with only the ridges of the lettuce cut in chunks served with their ginger dressing.There was no green lettuce in it at all! The only thing that tasted good from the whole meal was the ?Dressing?! Their servicewas horrible from the time we walked in the door until we walked out! Their food was the worst I have ever tasted & over priced!We were charged $67.50 for the entire ?Early Bird Special ? & not including the tip! We used to be frequent customers of Osaka, Olive Branch, haven't been there since pre-Covid. We decided to go there for the... Hibachi experience to celebrate a family member's birthday. We had a reservation for eleven, yet upon arrival, we had to wait abit for them to set up the table. The fried rice and veggies were tasty. The seafood and chicken were ok. The steak wasflavorless and overcooked. The service was below par, as one of us eventually had to get our own drink refill due to lack ofattention from our server, and it was not busy. The restrooms were very filthy and the overall cleanliness of the restaurant wassubstandard. Being presented with an unitemized $400+ check that included 18% gratuity automatically tacked on was not the happyending to this awful experience. Read more

Placed a to-go order, when we got I asked for the receipt and she acted like she didn?t hear me. I had to wait for her to be... done with a phone call so I can get my receipt, after I got it I realized why she was acting all weird. There was tip alreadyadded to my receipt! 15 dollars for spicy mayo and tip??? This place is a joke. Stopped sitting down to eat cause their serviceis horrible, now they are trying to rob you with to go orders too! Check your receipts people. Read more

Dumplings were great. I was really excited about the chili shrimp roll, but I didn't taste any chilli sauce, just regular hot... sauce which was a little weird on sushi. It was ok, but I won't order it again. Happy hour 4p-7p has a great food selection. Read more

The restaurant itself is really beautiful. When we walked in, we were sitted right away, then 5 minutes waited for our waitress.... Basically when she took our order she never came back to check on us or refill our drinks. My sushi were great. But my husband'sbacon wrapped shrimps appetizer and steak dinner with rice and veggies were cold. Also the portions were pretty small for sucha big plate. Definitely not worth $. I tried sushi here for the first time and i liked it. But the wasabi they served with it was awfully bad in taste. I almost died... after eating it. But I'm glad they have a vegetarian sushi on their menu which many restaurants don't. Their menu is quiteextensive. The ambience is great. Read more
