Reviews for Jack's in Olive Branch, MS
Edit: After another visit I still haven?t had the poor experience that everyone else claims they?ve had. I?ve even heard the... employees talking about the reviews, of how important it is to get everything right for the customers. Highly understaffedbusiness where the people who do work there are trying to accommodate everyone. I only change to four star because, let?s faceit, fast food isn?t really five star worthy. To me the first experience was, since it gave me a sense of home. I?ll keep goingback periodically to see if I can?t get that bad experience. _____________________ We?ve been twice in the past couple ofweeks. Service the same both times, as expected. Both times the food was as good as any Jack?s, aside from one in Henderson, TN,which has the best double gravy biscuit because they put a little more sausage than other locations. The place was clean andlooked different than other Jack?s restaurants I?m used to seeing. It has a southern theme along with the place. The workersseemed friendly and busy. I?ll never know why there are so many negative reviews of a mostly teenage staff. It?s a fast foodrestaurant. Not sure what people expect. Seems fairly normal to have some shenanigans in this or any other fast food. Read more
The drive thru was closed at 6:00 pm tonight. The fryer was broken and they were only serving the food that was sitting out.... There was food and French fries all over the floor. I spent $20 on chicken that was old. They didn?t give me my biscuits and theice cream in my shake was sour. I will never eat at a jacks again. They were my favorite for a very short time. I'm from Iuka MS where there are 5 Jack's within driving distance, so I know how good Jack's can be, but this location does not... live up to that standard. They left the mayonnaise off of my chicken sandwich after asking if I wanted it. My wife's milkshakehad big chunks of something floating in it and it looked like curdled milk and not like a hand scooped milkshake at all. Andworst of all my favorite item on the menu, the fries, were hard and stale. Definitely not worth the 20 or so dollars we spent. Icrave Jack's fries when I get homesick but I suppose I'll have to just stick to grabbing lunch at the Corinth store on my wayhome from visiting family. Read more
My wife and I had some errands to run and decided to grab a simple plain chicken sandwich to tide us over until dinner later.... Well that was a mistake as all we have accomplished since eating the sandwich is us both running to the bathroom and finallyhaving to abort our mission and come home sick?. We almost pulled out of the drive through looking at the horrific nasty messoutside the propped open back door. Wish we had trusted our instincts. The receipt has no phone number or manager name and nowwe see why and they don?t answer the phone. Only warning to notify them that something is obviously wrong but this is this onlysource I could find?. Read more
I just went to Jacks tonight and ordered chicken tenders the tenders looked like they have been fried in old grease n they were... hard n dried up.. I called to inform them n the young lady had an attitude with me n told me that they don?t fry their chickentenders n old grease like I was lying. I was furious so I talk to the supervisor n explain it to him n I also didn?t get mybiscuits I ordered or my bowl of fries. I?m sorry but you all need to hire so more staff with better attitudes n good customerservice.. The manager did tell me they will redo my order I just don?t like how I had to go through all this after I spent mymoney even my 4yr old knew she wouldn?t eat those tenders.. The service is ridiculous I hate to say it but hiring teens withattitudes will make you all lose business. Read more
I waited in the drive through for 40 min... I ordered a spicy chicken sandwich meal and instead for 3 tenders on a bun. This... place is brand new, how did it go downhill so fast. Read more
As previously stated, the chicken looked and tasted like it was cooked in burn oil. The chicken is usually very good and crispy.... The fries were good. Read more
First 2 weeks they were open was good. Now it?s been downhill since! Ordered a large order and this is all I got.
