Freshest oysters I have ever had, you can see where they get them from where you are eating. Also had an amazing local halibut... fish and chips, just the right amount of breading and cooked perfectly. My wife had the steamed clams which were also delicious.Perfect spot for some fresh local seafood. Read more

I'm torn and it could be my expectations were set high based on other's opinions. It was easy to see that the quality of the... food was excellent including the shoestring fries but a fried seafood served cold is not very rewarding. If I had to guess ourearly arrival undermined our meal. This place gets slammed for lunch so it's likely they anticipate the surge by getting thingsready ahead of time. In the time that it took us to walk from the register to a table the food was placed before us. Which leadsme to think something was sitting under the warmer and thrown on a plate. Otherwise the Island Roll was fine. We did take timeto visit the "shucking room" and the packaged sales shed. Made me think maybe I should have order the steamers. Alas, who knowsif things would have gone better at a different time. Read more

4.5 stars. We were staying on the island for 3 days as part of a road trip through WA, I had found this spot googling seafood... and we are so glad we came here. It was charming and had views of a small bay, perfect on a sunny afternoon. The oysters weresuper fresh, the whole crab was sweet and meaty, the halibut fish and chips were awesome, perfectly crisp and succulent! Weloved the atmosphere and the local brews. The only things we didn't care for were the crab cakes and the chowder, they were justok, chowder was rather bland. But everything else was delicious and we would go back and try more items on the menu next timewe're in the area. They don't take reservations so we were lucky to get a picnic table in the shade with seating. Read more

Exceptional food: fresh, delicious, melts in your mouth - whatever you decide to order. Island sandwich with a mix of seafood on... a warm roll was to die for. We also tried halibut ceviche and smoked cod from their store - both amazing. They have a variety ofgreat wine, beer and cocktails. The service is very friendly. It's a perfect spot for soaking in the sun and beautiful views. Read more

Buck Bay is amazing! We ordered the captains platter (or whatever it?s called!) and the market greens salad and it came out SO... fast. The shrimp & crab were amazing and the oysters were of course very fresh. We also ordered coronaritas which wererefreshing after a long bike ride. It overlooks the water where, during low tide, you can see folks hunting shellfish. We endedup getting some canned wine, crackers, smoked cod at their little market and had a picnic later that evening. Read more

I have been coming here since they had the market. Recently I came back and this place jas turned into a restaurant. They still... provided very yummy oysters, clams, and seafood. The fish and chips are worth the buck. It was super yummy. The only complaint Ihad was the clam chowder was watered down and blended. Everything else was tasty. This place can get very busy during lunch hourso get here early to claim your table. Outside seatings, first come and first served. Read more

Great place to get seafood and sit outside. We came around noon and managed to beat a big rush that came after. The menu seems... to vary from what is listed online but some items seem to be constant. There?s a nice view of the water. Food was excellent. Read more
