Our daughter and boyfriend go here often and kept asking us to come check it out. We joined them this morning. Sat outside, good... service, good food and a nice friendly atmosphere everyone including other patrons, were very friendly. The cost for breakfastfor four was a pleasant surprise. This morning my husband and I came in to try the food out, it was our first time ever in this restaurant. Upon arrival we waited... almost five minutes before someone noticed we were there. We then we?re told to wait because they had to bring water to two dogsupfront. Another waitress came by looked at us and brought the dogs treats. Cute but not helpful. Another couple came in and wefinally got a table they followed right after. The table that came in after us had drinks and their food before we even got ourdrinks. We never saw a waitress we got our hostess to get our drink order. Our waitress finally made her way over to us whereshe rudely asked for our order. After she snatched my menu away she was so kind to my husband. We watched as the table who camein after us enjoyed their breakfast and watched servers serve everyone else around us so quickly. For first impressions this isolder persons restaurant. We are in our thirties and the rest are far older. This restaurant must not like the youngergeneration, we felt shunned at the second to last table in the far back. Oh and let me not forget they didn?t even noticed wedidn?t have silverware until our food came. The environment is hot, the service is terrible first and last time back. We had ourcheck dropped off and not even a have a great day, thanks for coming. Service is very poor as far as customer service isconcernedAs far as the food? we?ll the food was fine, under seasoned but I understand. This restaurant could be so great if theyboosted their moral up and smiled. A customer should not be ignored, be asked if food is okay and have their server facing thewall, should be looked at. They kept the temperature in the restaurant so hot it was uncomfortable. The food was clearly frozen and processed, typical of... most diners in the area, nothing fresh. Seniors love this kind of stuff because it?s cheap eats but it was pretty gross. Rustyceiling vents with condensation dripping down on the customers. Dated decor and ambiance. The restaurant needs a major update. It was extremely hot inside. The food is very basic, with very little flavor. This diner is... just like every other basic diner in the area. The service was decent, and people were nice, but the temperature made the mealvery difficult to enjoy the food. Read more

This is the first time that I have visited Eve's family restaurant. Overall I believe the food was edible. Shelly are waitress... was fast efficient and either needs help or a raise cuz she really was on the ball. Even though I got the meat lovers omelet itdid come with a nice variety of sides but because of my dietary needs I chose the sliced tomatoes and no bread but it does comewith your choice of toast or biscuit and other sides. We have not eaten any breakfast, lunch or dinner here. This review is simply for the most fantastic home made cakes???????? ... this place has for a super reasonable price. Those cakes are baked in house and they look & taste like something your grandmawould bake at home. TOTAL YUM! That is only one part of the experience. When you head over the the bar area where the cakesare located, you are greeted by the most sweetest lady. She is so friendly and sweet. She truly enhances your experience. Ihighly recommend the desserts. This is our go to. Be mindful of their hours as they close earlier than some of the neighboringrestaurants. Read more
