Coming from a background in the food service industry, I was disappointed with my and my date?s experience the other night at... Kosta?s. The food was delicious, especially the chicken wings, but the service was awful. We were invisible to the waitress inthe entire 2 and a half hours we were there. I?d understand if the place was busy but her prioritization of chatting withcoworkers left me going to the bar to ask for refills on drinks and to even ask for our check. We walked in at 7:05 and had to seat ourselves, nobody offered a greeting at all. Several minutes later a waitress came over and... took our drink orders. Then 20 minutes later took our food orders. We then sat for over an hour and nobody checked our table. Wehad to go up to the bar and ask for more drinks meanwhile our server was busy taking to the other staff. We got our food, whichwas good but the service was unacceptable. I have never been treated so poorly in a restaurant before. Myself and my date feltinvisible to the waitstaff, very disappointed. This place is absolutely beautiful. The food is the best around for a bar/family gig. However, I was invited there yet not one... soul spoke a word to my daughter and I and I was extremely disappointed. I won't be back. Read more
Our waitress was phenomenal. Great service, great attitude and very friendly with recommendations. Unfortunately, the chef was... not great by any standard. First off, the Nachos came out with nothing on them, except cheese. No chicken, no tomatoes, noonions. Menu states it comes with cheese onions and tomatoes. 2/3 things missing. Haddock Plaki came out, missing 2/5 thingsit's supposed to come with. We sent back the nachos, but I already felt bad about asking for a remake when the chef clearlyisn't making an attempt to leave a lasting impression. When the menu says one thing, but you miss parts....there's somethingwrong. For a typical Sunday afternoon lunch at 1:30, this food was abysmal. Never again Old Town Kosta's. Read more
I ordered Kosta's Greek lamb gyro as a DoorDash pickup. The order was prepared on time and as specified (no lettuce). The... thing was massive and overflowing with the most juicy, succulent, flavorful lamb! As an added bonus, it cost only $12.99! Thefries in here are some of the best I've ever had! Lied about having a order being prepared for doordash, waited for 30 minutes and boy to be told that they ?shut doordash down?... without any warning or call to dasher or customer. Also, unless you are drinking with the staff they do not care wether you?rethere to spend money or not. Very unprofessional staff to say the least. Absolute joke. Brewer location isn?t run by clowns. God awful. Truly. My mozerella squares came freezing cold. Not just normal cold from travel. My spinach dip was cold. I spent... more money to upgrade and get pita with it. I received chips. My chicken wrap came full of onions, which isn?t an ingredientlisted as being in the wrap. And my garlic bread was soggy and wet. Edit: the manager handled things amazingly.
