The food never disappoints at the parthenon! Although not super busy, service was not that great.......and after we got our... food, nothing from the waitress.....what ever happened to "how is everything, can I get you something else"...... last coupletimes out to eat, not a word from the server! Also be careful because they charge a fee for english muffin "upgrade" that isntlisted.....why did the waitress not say there was an upcharge?.......I take offense to that and the tip will reflect yourservice skills! This spot is a treasure. We were visiting and randomly chose a spot for breakfast. 1950's authentic diner - check! Food -... delicious! Coffee was hot and delicious, refilled constantly by our server. Must see spot! Read more

Went there for breakfast yesterday and we waited almost 10 minutes for coffee, we saw that it was busy and our waitress couldn?t... handle her station, so we waited patiently. After waiting another 10 minutes for our order to be taken a group of 4 walked inand a guy that everyone knew. They were seated and fed before us and served before us and the Incompetent waitress was trying toblame the kitchen. After 40 minutes we decided to leave and obviously never to return. At least they didn?t charge of for thecoffee from the bottom of the pot!!! Read more

Food was lukewarm and home fries tasted sour. Server never stopped by table to ask how anything was. He had the personality of... a brick wall. He got our drink order wrong and seemed irritated when we corrected it. He didn?t really ever speak to us at all.He walked up to the table, took out his order pad and stood there until I told him the order. Then when he came back with coffeehe didn?t ask if I wanted more he just stood there until I told him I would like more. That was my 1st time there and willdefinitely be my last. Read more

Food is adequate. Fixed price breakfast and lunch are reasonable BUT you have to check the actual bill, seems the clever cash... register charges (60%) more than menu and decides the inclusive drink is now extra and it keeps the pennies in any change due. Read more

I really like the diner feel and this place has that vibe. We came in and looked at the extensive menu. I had a turkey avacado... Panini and my daughter had the fried chicken. We both enjoyed our meals but too much food to eat it all. We had leftovers. Hadgreat service. Great time. Plus they a nice dessert selection. Only if we had the room. Came in and it wasn't super busy but welike the meals. I felt like breakfast. Love breakfast for dinner. My man got a open faced sandwich. Meal was great. When wewere about to leave a man and his wife came by and gave us money to buy dessert. How truly thoughtful. Makes you have hope inhumanity again. Just made our night. Thanks so much! We will pay it forward Oh no I found hair in my food, not one, not two,but three hairs. The managers response..Tell your waiter. My waiters response....No one else had a problem.
