This is a REAL diner. No frills and GREAT food. I came here with a friend a couple years ago. Today I returned in tribute to my... dear friend?s life. I forgot how wonderful this restaurant was and so glad I came back. There is just something about gooddiner coffee. And it?s here (sorry sbux). Not my favorite. Chose it for the good reviews and because I?d never been there. First they put me at a table when there were... clearly booths open. I guess they were reserving them hoping for larger parties. That makes sense but I was still very uneasysitting in the middle of the room with everyone moving close around me. I should?ve left right then. I was admonished for tryingto take photos for my reviews too. First time anyone has ever said anything about it. I wanted to tell her that I am perfectlywithin my legal rights taking photos in a public space AND show her my 8.7 MILLION views on my photos. I was afraid I?d get abooger on my food so I kept my mouth shut. My over medium eggs were cooked perfectly. If you order eggs that way then you knowhow hard it can be to get eggs that aren?t scorched or look like runny snot. The chicken fried steak was not to my likingeither but I?ll give them a pass on that one. I don?t care much for fried food so I?m not sure why I ordered that other than itwas marked as a chef specialty. There were plenty of other options I could have chosen. I give this place an A+. Not just the flavors but the service. The chili in the chili cheese omelette was homemade. The service... was amazing. The worst part about the experience was that I only ordered a small orange and that was by far the best and freshest orange... juice I have ever tasted. The food was delicious, orange juice was delicious, staff was extremely friendly, atmosphere was fullof good vibes and the bathrooms were very clean! Hands down one of the best meals we've ever had.
