This review is for others who are lactose intolerant like I am. I've had dinner at Lugano as well as ordered through Postmates,... both times I requested a dairy-free version of pasta dishes and both times they were extremely accommodating and provided adelicious dairy-free version of the meals I ordered. Was staying at the hotel up the block and my husband and I thought this would be a good place for our anniversary dinner. When... we arrived the man at the front didn't greet, welcome us, or ask us how many in our party. We had to approach him and ask himfor a table for two, he seated us in the back. Water glasses are already on the table and they were completely covered in hardwater stains. We tried switching them with the glasses on the table next to us and they were in the same condition. Made itunappealing to use them. We saw a white couple next to us who received bread and butter. I was confused why they got some and wedidn't. I ended up asking and the waiter brought us some. I ordered sea bass which came on a cutting board filled with mold. Myhusband ordered steak that came with too much sauce that made all the fries soggy. Someone knows what it's like to be hungry to order food, to wait for it to arrive and it arrives very badly and apart from that... the manager hangs up on me 6 times when I call just to ask how they can solve the situation. it is unheard of and intolerant. my order was penne a la vocka with breaded chicken, the chicken has a hair and looks old or of poor quality and my pasta had apiece of seafood, it is intolerant. ???????????? Really like this place. They have an every day happy hour from 3 to 6 that has a variety of wine and cocktail specials as well... as food specials. The rose was delicious, the service was great, and the food was really good especially for happy hour prices.Gluten-free options available and we will definitely return.
