People love the Waffle House. Maybe it's a southern thing. Personally I just don't see it. A friend and I stopped in for some... late night eats and they were not busy but severely understaffed. I'm actually never waited quite so long for something assimple as eggs and waffles. I'm going to try to look at the positives of this place, which is the women working here were andusually have been friendly. Oh, and it's clean, that's important. Unfortunately, that's where it ends. This is your very basicin terms of food and a restaurant. The waffles from which they make their name are just average. Everything else is average, aswell I just don't see wasting calories here at all! It is busy the very bare basics. Maybe I'm just not basic. Ha. Gettingyour food is very, very slow. If you're in a hurry, this isn't the place. If you're not in a hurry, why not try another venuewith a better view than of a counter or a parking lot. This is American fare at it's weakest. This location had unmotivated staff. We waited over 20 minutes for a seat - a couple a head of us were seated and were still... waiting 15 minutes later for a waiter / waitress to come and at least get their drink order. We watched two other parties gettheir meal in parts - meaning the brought a waffle but nothing else and then like 10 minutes later got their eggs and toast.Three tables were empty only needed cleaned but the staff were moving like molasses. Went here with my fiancé around the time a small rush occurred and there was only one employee. one running the ENTIRE... restaurant by himself! and he was AMAZING. Daniel made our experience fantastic and provided quality food while serving multipleguest at once. not only did was he enjoyable as a server but he went above and beyond as the only person working. fantasticworker and deserves a raise because what food chain puts ONE WORKER on staff? shout out to him for single handly carrying theentire waffle house chain ????
