Long John Silver & A&W (classic burger joint). I really like this place as far as fast food goes. They cook your order fresh, so... no nasty heat lamp fries. But since they cook it fresh, make sure you have few minutes longer to wait for your food. I like thatthey offer baked/grilled seafood if you're looking for healthier options. OMG the slowest drive thru ever literally took 45 mins to even get up to pay at the window. Another 30 mins to get our food. Not... going back. I'd rather go to the one on Strange Line Rd and 119th. The people in front of us keep turning their car off and on.That's how long it was. Read more
Wow!!! Apparently the whole staff quit bc of a nasty manager....So it took probably 30 minutes to get our food minus the family... size cole slaw and my hush puppies!!! We didn't check bc we had another hour drive to get home????????????!!! The only brightspot was the very kind girl who came in to help from another store. Read more
I went here for a rootbeer, and ended up waiting 20 minutes for it. One other time my Mother and I came here and it was a 30... minute wait and we were the only people in line and no people inside dining. I really wish they would fix up the building, theroot beers are great. I haven't been here in quite some time due to long waits. Read more
Place just seems to be falling a part. It seems worse every time we go. The chicken and fish are really good. But the restaurant... has a bad smell and some of the sides are not very good. This used to be a great establishment. I think they need an upgrade tokeep up with modern times. LJS is one of my husband's, brother in laws, and my dad's favorite restaurants. But it's not as goodas it used to be. I wouldn't go back unless they made some changes. Not to dine in anyway. Like I said, the chicken and fish arestill good buts that's about it. Had to wait almost 12 min for food thru the drive thru. They ignored me after giving me my food. The order was missing a meal. I... git frustrated and just drove off. Was very upset. This has happen more then 4 times. It seems everytime I go there I have towait an extremly long time for food inside and in drive thru. Read more
Service was great. Food was ok. The staunch of sewer we smelled from our car should've gave us a clue to not go in. It must've... been so horrendous inside the lady next to us was coughing and puking on her table. Not sure if it was because she was sick orthe sewer smell that caused her to vomit. You would think they would've left, but no, they stayed as she continued to cough andpuke even more causing us to leave. Food was great, except the fried Twinkie tasted like it was fried with the fish. Shame onthe management to let the sewer issue become so bad. There's not many A&Ws around anymore :( Read more
