Extremely disappointed. Service from our waitress was good despite the food. I ordered one baja fish taco and one crispy chicken... taco with the garlic parm fries, my partner ordered the the Cajun steak. When our food came out ? the temperature of the foodwas cold. A big piece of butter was on top my partners steak and was literally still FROZEN. Steak wasn?t even warm enough tomelt the butter. We expressed our concerns to the waitress and within a few minutes the manager (I?m assuming was the manager)came out and let us know he heard we were unhappy with our meals. Again, we expressed our concerns but his reaction was verydisingenuous and very much got the vibe that he didn?t really care. I was starving so I didn?t bother to ask for new food, mypartner instead ordered the steak + pasta, and as the manager delivered my partner their plate of food, continued to speak tothem as if they were dumb. Thankfully this meal was very good. So we are happy about that. I?d also like to mention therestaurant was not busy at this time, there was maybe two other party?s dining in the restaurant as well. First off my apologies, I was hungry when we got our food and started eating before pictures. Absolutely delicious food. Service... was great! A little slow in the kitchen but the waitress was amazing! Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 was the inconsistencyof food. 2 steaks order both med rare and only 1 came perfect. My husband and I dined here for the first time lastnight. My husband had his heart set on fish and chips and a beer on tap. ... After we were seated and set to order, we found out the fridge was broken, so only bottled beer was available. I think thehostess should have informed us as we would have gone elsewhere. I ordered the pub burger which was really good. The frieswere just warm. My husband's fish was perfectly cooked but his fries were just warm along with not very many. He ordered gravyas did I, he got gravy, I didn't. It was enough to share though. The gravy isn't like any gravy we've tasted, more of asauce. It almost had a tomato base to it. I ordered a glass of wine and my husband got water. Once we recieved our food, wewere not checked up on once. I wanted another glass of wine but our waitress didn't check in with us. When it came time topay, I needed to go find her. There was another couple holding their credit card for at least 10 mins waiting for their serverto bring a machine. There were 2 other servers out in the covered patio serving other tables. Apparently, it was way busierthan normal. So in my opinion, ask one of the other servers to check on other tables so they're not just left. Food was decent,service was non attentive. Disappointing experience. Read more

Hard to tell from the reviews if it was an off night, or if the food quality was the current state, but we were not impressed... with the food. Service was great, no issues there. Our server was friendly and attentive. Most of our food was either cold orover fried. The spicy chicken was so over fried it was hard to tell there was chicken in some pieces, and any flavour had beencooked out. My son enjoyed his quesadilla, but he didn?t use his gravy on his fries. It was weird tasting and had a very thicklayer of oil on top. We are huge fans of the 17th ave location and thought this one would be the same, but it really didn?thold a candle food wise. This is my second time here. Once again, the food was great and the server was excellent. Also, an extremely clean wash... room. There was a group of us and everyone was very happy! Browns Social House This is our first time at this location. Iordered a Smokey Hamburger with a side of Ceasar Salad. The meal was very good and the hamburger was tasty. The establishment isvery clean (including the washroom), and there is an outside area where we had our meal (nice atmosphere). The servers wherevery friendly and I was asked by several staff if I needed assistance while I was looking around. Read more

We came here for a big family lunch celebrating two birthdays. They did the required checks at the door, and we were quickly... seated. Service was simply outstanding and our meals were all great portion size and great tasting. I would definitely come backhere! Read more

Place has a nice vibe to it. Loved the look and feel of the outdoor patio. I 100% suggest the crunchy cauliflower as a starter.... Amaazing.
