Reviews for Yokozuna Yale in Oklahoma City, OK
Food was okay but expensive for what it is. The service was pretty bad as our server ignored us a good portion of the time. It... was the worst service I’ve had in a long time. Won’t come back. The server completely ignored the lady that sat next to ourtable as well and she seemed pretty unhappy about the experience. The restaurant is very nice inside. The family sitting acrossfrom us had a different server and they seemed to have a much better experience. It was polarizing to see as our server ruinedeverything. The food could be better but good service would’ve made up for it. Read more
Wouldn’t rate this place. Stupid me didn’t read the 1 star reviews prior, stating the food was bland. It seems Yokozuna put... all their focus into the ambience (which is great by the way) and zero into their food. This photo is supposed to be Thai greencurry, what is this sewer sludge containing 50% carrots? I’m 99% sure the sauce is from a jar or powder, it’s nowhere nearauthentic and quite frankly disgusting. Worst Thai green curry ever if you can call it that. I feel embarrassed for them thatthis is even on the menu. My husbands fried rice was underwhelming and looked sad. I don’t think they’ve heard of salt orseasoning. Appetizers were oily but fine. We ate them. Not good enough to come back for, but not bad enough to complain about. The waitress was pleasant. Won’t be back Read more
Amazing amazing amazing! Great atmosphere, the decor and paint and design create an amazing vibe. We were sat down immediately... and attended fairly quick! Started off with two soups and nigiri and then ordered three roles. Haven’t had miso soup withshiitake mushrooms before yet it was really good! We cleaned every plate and left content! Rolls are made to order and theymanaged to get them out in an efficient manner! All of the flavors were fresh and individually delicious! Highly recommendcoming here with your friends or on a date night, for the 2 of us it came out to a little under $100 with tip, drinks, appetizers, and the rolls. Very affordable and worth the dollar! The edamame could’ve been better, but the service was nice and we sat on the patio which surprisingly had a great view that... night. The reason that they get five stars is because they have the best sushi roll I’ve ever tasted in my life. The risingsun roll. Literally so freaking delicious. Also amazing Bloody Mary! Read more
Went for happy hour and couldn't have been more satisfied. Spring rolls were the best I've ever had. Way more than just that... thing all sushi places have to have on their menu. California roll, Route 66 roll and Hot Mess off the HH menu left meoverstuffed with leftovers for half the price. My date got the Rising Sun roll was not on the HH menu, but 100% worth the fullprice as she explained it was the best ingle roll she'd ever had. Read more
Food was awesome and had tones of flavor. Ordered the gyoza and steam buns with pork belly. Entree was Roll and Gift roll and... Rainbow roll with Mongolian Beef. 4 stars because the pork belly was WEAK and almost non-existent and the Mongolian Beefportion was extremely small for the price. Other than that everything was great! Read more

Sushi was absolutely amazing! Great waiter! Very nice atmosphere. Only thing I wasn’t impressed with, was the mixed drink I... tried. It was tasty, but you could tell there was little to no alcohol. But, wouldn’t stop me from coming back! Read more
