I have been there twice within the same month for a smoothie. I always get the mango magic. For some reason the ingredients have... changed it had pulps of orange or lemon, it was bitter no sweetener at all. The color was different as well. So I go againgiving it another chance and it was worse the second time. I call and the shift manager did not seem to care did not offer toremake it. Told me the manager and owner was not there. I wish I could give this a zero. Not only did they not give us all our food, the food was wrong and as I am on the phone with... them asking how to get the items they forgot and get things remade?. My son bit in to a PLASTIC BREAD TIE! I?m mortified andwhen I tell them what happened, and ask to speak to a manager, I am not even given an apology, but they refused to let me speakto a manager and acted like I was in the wrong for wanting this rectified! Told me the manager was out and may or may not beback in, in a couple of days. Not one I?m sorry, instead I was treated like an inconvenience. Tropical Smoothie Cafe is generally pretty good. The service is nice and quick. When they?re in a rush their food quality tends... to go slightly downhill, the smoothies will be bland. I got a quesadilla the other day the chicken was only at the very top andonly cheese on 2/3s of it, which was a little annoying. Their food isn?t my favorite but it?s not bad. I generally only gettheir island detox smoothie because it?s one of the only ones with purely ingredients and no added sugar. Read more

The smoothies are definitely not healthy. They have a ridiculous amount of calories and it's mostly sugar. I could eat pizza or... q cheeseburger or tacos for the same amount of calories and their smoothies taste super watered down. There are other smoothieplaces that are much better than here, dont waste your money. Read more
