Reviews for Laredo Taco Company in Oklahoma City, OK
Old food for sale. Bought a carne asada and fajita taco and the meat wasn't even hit enough to melt the grated cheese that was... added to them. Enchiladas looked old and dry. I visited at 1pm so I thought the food would be fresh right after lunch. I thoughtwrong. Read more
I really liked the enchiladas when I would stop by before going to work. I?d get the enchiladas with beans@ rice, now I go in... and they never have enchiladas. Why? I see 1 or 2 employees just standing there. I would think they would have the enchiladassince they maybe want to keep my business. But I guess not. But the enchiladas were so good. And this is around 2-230 pm. Thestore off I40 and Mccarthur. But been really disappointed no enchiladas. I?ve had people ask me where I been getting theenchiladas. I?ve been telling them at laredo taco. But they never have the enchiladas when I go in. So I stop stopping by . Read more
I have been a supporter of Laredo Taco for many years haven eaten at many times in West Texas. So when I find out that they... opening locations in Oklahoma city I am very excited. Well after multiple visits I am very disappointed in them. Food is alwaysLuke warm at most, dried out or employees act like they don't want to be there. Now I visit the Norman location at 8am and theonly thing that they have is chicken fajitas. Something does not change it will never make it in Oklahoma city area. Too manyother options Read more
Every time I go into this location it is filthy. The food is dried out. The refried beans are crusty. The rice is crusty. The... salsa bar is a mess. I've literally seen homeless people sticking their fingers in it. I've seen homeless men and women openingthe hot case and picking up food and put it back. It gets reported but the never throw the food out or change out the salsa.I've ordered rice and it came in a big lump. I said I didn't want it and did they have any fresh and was told that they had touse what was on the line first. My tortillas were hard and crunchy. I turned down two that were burnt. I was outside the 7-11early last week and saw the kid manager taking a box of something and putting it in his (?) vehicle so theft looks rampant. I'veseen roaches on the counter behind their line and the general attitude is lazy and lethargic. I tried to contact the store gmbut was told she wants nothing to do with complaints about the restaurant. That it isn't her concern to speak with the kidmanager.. Mark or something. But he's so rude to customers I doubt he'd have anything to say especially when I've obviouslycaught he himself stealing products. Maybe it's time 7-11 closes this dump down or fires everyone and starts fresh. ???? Read more
Went it 7:30ish am on 29th and Council. I stopped at the counter looked at all the breakfast items. The young lady was making... tortillas. So I got coffee and came back. Nobody in the store (Sunday). Place my order for 4 of the breakfast tacos. She said okand went back to making tortillas. I watched and then thought I'll get salsa ready. No serving spoons. I asked if she hadserving spoons. I haven't gotten that far she said. I had watched her make plenty of tortillas at least for my order. She keptmaking them. So I just picked up my coffee told to to forget it paid for coffee and left. Was looking forward to try theirbreakfast tacos since my disappointment with the lunch menu at another store. I've also been to the one on South MacArthur andI40 in the afternoon. I was not impressed with the food, all the tacos were bland. Read more
This review is for the Laredo inside the 7-11 on 89th & May. First time trying it was today, around 3 pm. There were two people... in front of me in line. We all waited five minutes without being acknowledged. Two back-facing employees. Finally, anotherworker came to help. I waited over 15 minutes to get my food. They were out of carnitas, rice, chips, AND salsa roja (andprobably more that I didn't ask about). I tried the barbacoa tacos since they were out of everything else I wanted. It wasdisgustingly dry. Its texture was rougher than beef jerky, like it had been sun-dried for a week. Absolutely horrible serviceand food. I won't be back. Read more
Mrs. Flip Out saw a billboard for ?Laredo Taco now open!? and she told me about it. Little did we know, it was attached to a... 7-Eleven. Since I was already there, I went on in. Surprisingly, it was more than a concession area in a gas station. I orderedthe beef enchiladas with sides of rice and refried beans. I was also curious about their chips and queso and the horchata. Topay, you receive a food ticket, then take it to the front cashiers, only to have to return to the ordering counter to figureout which bag is your order. They do have a salsa bar with a nice variety of salsas which I loved. I enjoyed the beefenchiladas, but I didn?t care for the refried beans. The rice was ok. If I went back, I?d try the street tacos.
