First time going to this Steakhouse. Atmosphere, very classy place but comfortable wearing jeans there too. Service was good... attentive without intrusion. Family of 9, including two 7 yr olds & an 11 yr old, went for a birthday. Had reservations, theyput us at a table in front of the fireplace. I had the NY Strip, green beans, baked potato soup. It was wonderful, steak wascooked perfectly, the green beans were prepared in a new way to me but it was all delicious. Can't wait to go again. Read more
Had been to Saltgrass many times and had great dining experiences, but last night we went with a party of 7, got seated and... ordered. Got our appetizers and salads fine, then waited approx. 45 minutes for our entrees, two of our peeps had soup, and bothkinds were not hot at all. 5 of 7 steaks were cooked wrong, one medium-well order came out still purple inside and one order ofgrilled shrimp was not completely cooked, to the point where it was still like gelatin. Our server and the manager were verynice and apologetic, and the manager comp’d the incorrect meals, but it was a completely dismal experience. Me and my husband just left. Sat at the bar. The experience started great which easily turned sub par. My husband received his... dish which was the Cajun rib eye ($35 dish). I ordered the Laredo chicken. He cut into his steak and it was well done whenordered medium. Waited maybe 5-7 minutes before our bar tender even came back out after the food dropped. I didn't want to starteating my entree without my husband. Not only did his food take another 15 minutes to come out, the second time it came outmedium rare.. Our drinks were not serviced the entire time after relaying the message his steak was over done.. We also arrivedat Happy hour I ordered both my long islands before the time but got charged for one at full price. It's not my fault thebartender didn't put it in the system until after the time.. Sadly one of the worst meals I have had for a long time. Out of 7 meals only 1 was not horribly overdone. Salmon was so over... cooked it had to be cut with the steak knife. All of our steaks were well done and rubbery when ordered med rare. Shrimprubbery and overcooked. My baked sweet potato had been in the oven so long the skin was black and the actual potato inside hadshrunk to half the size of the skin. My boyfriend and I went to dinner for the first time at Salt Grass on 07/08. We took his best friend out for his last night in... OKC before he moved to Virginia the following day on 07/09. We entered the restaurant and there were two employees at the hoststand discussing something about their job (I get it). We waited for a good 30 seconds to a minute before being greeted (again,fine), but neither person looked up one time even while greeting us. We then waited another few minutes before being seated forour reservation, again, with no eye contact or care whatsoever. We waited about 5-7 minutes to be greeted at the table. It wasa little busy around dinner time, so again, fine. When the waitress got our drink order, she was not kind at all (whatever, wedon’t need her to have a good time). When our friend asked if they have Diet Dr. Pepper, the waitress said no. So, the friendordered water and waitress shortly laughed and smirked our friend for this (The first eye contact or smile we had gotten allevening). The experience completely declined after that. The only half decent part of this experience was the food. The staffabsolutely put zero effort into us having a POSITIVE memorable experience. We will never be back! Read more

We decided to give this place a try just to go somewhere we had never been before. We walked in and were seated immediately. ... There were maybe 5-6 other tables in the entire restaurant so you would think service would be great. That was not the case forus. It took 33 minutes to get our food out once we ordered. Although the food was good the amount of time that it took to getit to our table was unacceptable. I doubt we will return in the future. There are plenty of other steak houses around townthat do a much better job. Read more
Went here for a team meeting and it was wonderful. Had the shrimp and steak. The service was top notch. The food was great!... From the salad to the cheese appetizer to the meal. I would recommend this steak house to anyone wanting delicious food. Read more
