Food was excellent, the service sucked. Sunday afternoon, maybe 5 tables, and 3-5 servers, I don't get it. Other than the... tiling man was either inexperienced and needs more training, or just flat didn't care. Wife ordered coffee he had to go checkand see if they had any or could make it. Delivered it and didn't ask about cream or sugar. Delivered food with 3 empty drinksdidn't bother asking if we want more. Finally caught him coming by and asked for all 3 drinks to be refilled and he was like all3, had to say yes all 3 for a second time. If this guy is working for tips, either people feel sorry for him or he's in the poorhouse. Looking at other wait staff, they seem to be checking their tables. Read more
Returned for a second visit tonight following an outstanding first experience. However, on this trip I was seated and waited at... the table for 14 minutes and no one ever stopped by to take my order or offer a drink. Great location with plenty of parking. We enjoy that you can walk around to different establishments or sit and watch the water... shoot before or after your meal. The hostess is always welcoming. Our server was friendly, funny and engaging. Wife recommendsthe Gator punch. For starters we shared a bowl of Gumbeaux - chicken & sausage. Great choice, just wish they would serve it withbread instead of crackers. Wife had the blackened tilapia with dirty rice & green beans, she stated it?s average compared toother restaurants tilapia. I enjoyed the Cajun Combo skillet which I had several times before at other locations. The andouillesausage seemed overcooked, wasn?t moist and hard. I always substitute the crawfish etoufee for chicken this is one of myfavorites, the shrimp Creole is a little spicy but enjoyable, red beans flavorful and corn is buttery and delicious. Updated Visit 5/1/22. Food is still amazing, portions generous for the price point. Our server was on double duty as bartender... as well but didn't miss a beat!Recommendations were on point and so was the service. Thank you for another greatexperience! We had a half hour wait to get seated and it carried over into the service which was somewhat slow and inattentive. We started... with a half dozen raw oysters which were excellent, and the best part of the meal. I ordered the shrimp po' boy which tastedgreat although it was somewhat skimpy in both size and shrimp for the price. My wife had the fried shrimp which looked good tome and she said it tasted good too. All in all a mediocre visit but I'll probably try the place again to see if my mind getschanged. Read more
The wait was supposed to be for an hour and 30 minutes. We waited 3hours for seating. The General Manager Andy is rude,... unapproachable and unconcerned. Andy advised the wait was due to 4 people calling in, I can understand why. One of our 5 seat upto 8 tables were canceled, I never received a text saying your table is ready. So, we had a birthday party split up across therestaurant. On a higher note sit at the bar the Asst Mgr is awesome she came from the bar finally questioned the hostes whom areextremely rude on our table and got the rest of our party seated at 8:19pm we had been there since 5. Ok so I have been to this place 3 yes 3 times in a week! Yes, they are that good so far what I have had. The combo skillet is... really good spicy. True flavor of New Orleans red beans, ettoufeand shrimp creole. The boudin balls were great. The gumbo wasdecent but probably the most authentic you will get here in Oklahoma. The fried fish could be bigger pieces but was good. Thebest item so far and I have it 3 times. Quick backstop I don't even eat bread pudding. I have had their peach pecan breadpudding 3 times. You have to try it. I promise I'm gonna try other stuff. Oh yeah when I went for date night I did have theJamabalaya pasta great portion. Fried pickles and the popcorn shrimp taste just like Gulf shrimp. This is absolutely the bestseafood place in Oklahoma and I have been to many. Oh one more thing...can we say drinks were everything! This was my second time eating here and I can safely say that this is a Cajun cafe without the Cajun seasoning. The food is on... the blander side, good if you?re looking for milder flavours. Also, It?s not stated on the menu but the Green beans have baconin them! Read more
