In our (daughters and myself) search for a study spot with reasonably priced food, yummy drinks and a pleasant atmosphere, we... decided to try this out. It was a bit pricey for a regular study date but we will definitely come back. It was delightful! Theysupport hiring people with disabilities and if you can see in the picture, the cup has adorable drawings and sayings written onit by a young man who works there. My boyfriend and I go every Saturday morning for a quick coffee. We love their seasonal menus and they have some good treats. A... great selection of local beers, jams, etc. for sale as well. Its cozy and yet the atmosphere is still light. They have walk inor a window on the side if you have your dogs which there is also a water bowl available for outside the front door. There is everything to like about this coffee shop. Excellent coffee, wonderful people and a fabulous vision. I love that these... coffee shops are all non-profit. The concept is great and all the items I have tried so far have been incredibly tasty. From theHorchata Latte, to the cinnamon rolls, to the massive breakfast burritos - yum. I just noticed yesterday that they also havealcohol, so it can be a true brunch hang. Oh, and if your pup is chill, so are they. We had seen this coffee shop multiple times and Mrs. Flip Out finally had a chance to stop in. While waiting for her breve, the... barista told her about their mission to train adults with disabilities so they can gain necessary skills for finding jobs. Theyhave a variety of coffee bean roasts for sale along with other merchandise. There?s seating inside as well as a patio. They alsohave a walk up window to place orders. Sometimes it is the simple things in life that make you the happiest. First let me start out by saying that an ex girlfriend... broke up with me at this coffee shop years ago, so it has a special place in my broken heart. That being said I still lovecoming back to enjoy the food and people watching. From the window seating in the front you can watch all that go down WalkerAve. in Midtown. Whether it be the fun bicycle group Hide and Go Bike or the People coming out of the suburbs to enjoy waitingin line for Waffle Champion. This Dog friendly location offers indoor and outdoor seating with a walk up window for those who donot want to enter. It is cozy and has a warm feeling about it. Had a grilled cheese with bacon and Lavender Honey Frappe that was absolutely delicious. But that's not the biggest sell here;... the staff is. They are wonderful inside and out and on a heart-warming mission to give opportunities to those who really need ahelping hand from a supportive community. I loved everything about here.
