I ordered a build your own omelet and it was made incorrectly. The manager was friendly and helpful and I was able to get a new... one, made correctly; however, by the time it came out, the rest of my party had finished their meals so I just took it to go.Once I got home, I noticed it was still incorrectly made (I asked for mushrooms peppers and avocado and it came with nomushroom, spinach and tomato). The sad fact that this place is always busy shows how dumb people in Oklahoma City are. Calling this the International House of... Pancakes is a complete joke. The portion of food I ordered was so small it only took ten minutes to eat all my food. The $3.50coffee was terrible and way overpriced. I left there still feeling hungry. I about fell over when I saw my ticket was nearly$20. Was not worth it at all!! I get much better portions at other breakfast places and pay just over $10.00 and leave with afull stomach. Also it had all male waiters, were are the female waitresses? I'm so disappointed that I wasted my time and mymoney. I will never eat here again. It did not even deserve 1 star. Read more
I think I need to just stop hoping this time actually will be good and pass by all IHOP restaurants. Only reason I can justify 2... stars - my server did bring me enough hot coffee to fill me up. And I should have left then, but didn't. It was after Breakfastrush ,a simple suggested order with no adds or complicated requests. It arrived after 40 minutes, with my ticket and was mostlycold. Obviously it had been sitting around somewhere. Silverware provided had a knife that did not cut, a dirty spoon and thefork suffered obviously seriously bent tines. And my server - had disappeared. Terrible service. We came and were seated very quickly, but then were ignored for 30mins. We had to tel the waitress while she... was walking by, that we were ready to order drinks. The order consisted of water, sweet tea, and coffee. After another 30mins,the water and teas came out. We had to remind the waitress the we were still waiting on coffee. Her response ?excuse me sir, butI?m taking care of other tables right now?. When she finally came back and brought the coffee, she took our orders. Our orderstook an excessive amount of time! To the point that other larger tables that came in after we ordered, had their food before us.I?ll be staying away from this place and the poor service. This is by far the worst experience at a restaurant I?ve had. Our food took an hour and a half to get out(cold and completely... not what I ordered). when I told our waitress what was wrong with my order the manager came out and argued with me that it wasright? it for sure was not. She finally told me she would fix it for me ?this time.? We finally got all of our food somewhatright 2 hours in and they immediately gave us the bill. I made a comment to my friend about one single waffle being $9. Thewaitresses sat in the corner laughing at us and calling us broke. Very loudly. We will not be returning. Read more
I usually enjoy everything from IHOP, especially this location but I was disappointed today when I received my milkshake. It's... already higher priced since I ordered it on Uber eats, but no&%w that your not dealing with customer face to face you can handthem tiny milk shakes.? Been to one other IHOP today, and turns out the waitstaff was great at both. Free wifi was great, never lost connection from my... work laptop. Got a Philly Stacker, and it was pretty good (I'm from Philly so kinda finicky bout my Cheesesteaks). My waitresswas very nice and attentive. Will have to remember to come back to this one. Read more
This was, by far, the worst experience I've had across this chain. The waitstaff were great, but literally everything else was... so disappointing that I have spent just about every hour since we left apologizing to the person we took with us. First off, thewait was ridiculous. It took an hour for our food to get out--and that was with a nearly empty restaurant. We are talking threetables total, no huge groups. Second, the appetizer we ordered didn't come out first, it came out alongside dinner. Third, thefood that we had to wait an hour for was subpar. Even the drinks were! The tea was sour. The chicken I ordered was bland andrubbery. The waffles my kid ordered were so burnt she cried about her teeth hurting. The (new) waiter's suggestion was thatmaybe the syrup would help--can't blame him, he was trying and I guess the kitchen just was too hard to work with that night,but it felt... off. And it didn't help, by the way. The breakfast combo we ordered came out cold and the waiter simplymicrowaved the food. It wasn't hot then, either, but by that point we just went with it. Then at the end of the night, when werealized we had been charged for more drinks than we ordered, we just went with it. We were too tired and sick of this place tofight anymore. Do not come here. I can only assume that training is subpar and the staff are struggling, which means that uppermanagement seriously needs to step in and give their waitstaff, kitchen staff, and restaurant managers the support they need.
