For those who consider time of the essence, it's an upmarket Interurban in almost every way, though I can't speak of the bar... atmosphere here and how it compares to the legendary environment of the lamentably-closed 'Urb on Memorial. To give somedetail, my party and I showed for lunch the other day, some time well into their foray here at the old TGI Friday's location.Seating was prompt, and service wasn't, until the waiter tried to rush us along towards the end of the meal of course. When ourfood arrived, the wrong side orders were with it. The food itself is fine. To start, we were brought out some amazingcroissants, with a drizzled honey butter topping that evokes the imagination. The Monte Cristo was perfectly of the type,well-fried and full of the usual things in such a gourmet-and-fit-for-a-gourmand offering, though the raspberry jelly thatusually accompanies this was erroneously omitted, and it took a few minutes to arrive upon request. I tasted the chicken pot piethat a friend had. While I thought that it, too, was well made, albeit with canned vegetables that nonetheless allowed thesensible price of it, the sauce in the filling was a bit bland and in need of seasoning, though I could see this meeting a fewpeople's tastes. The ribs were fall-off-the-bone, which is again to many people's tastes, but they were simply overcooked.Dishes were attempted to be cleared while we were still enjoying our food. While there are some growing pains with the placethat are persisting well into the "son living in the basement" stage, where they shouldn't be, especially for an establishedchain, I'm glad it's here, and I will give it another crack after the Holiday season. Our waitress forgot to bring the soup and salad out before our meal. One entree was overcooked, the other was luke-warm and one... entree portion sizes were small for the price. We probably will not go back. Read more

Normally when I go to Cheddars I order the cornmeal white fish; however, that was not available. I ordered the baked whitefish... and it was lacking flavor. The drinks are always 100%. The service is always incredible. My son ordered the pasta and hedevoured it. Read more

Super excited as this is the closest to the house. This place Cheddars in general used to be a lock for date nights.. this... Thursday night @ Cheddars on memorial newly opened .... Someone missed the full flavor and awesome memo. Except our serverSophia she did great! The fryers caught fire.... I'm not sure if that was the reason my chicken and shrimp that was fried lostflavor in the batter. The time for food to be delivered the flavors lacking & flat beer.... The promised croissants that nevermade it... that is the reason Cheddars gets 3 stars. I will update the review next visit. These are the things we did notreport mostly because I didn't want our server to cry or feel like she was at fault. Don't think I saw a manager running around. I can say what was super was the broccoli cheese casserole. Also I will give the crew at Cheddars time to get their act backto greatness. Regarding the negative reviews that I just read one has to remember that they have only been open less than 2 weeks. Of course... there are going to be some problems. It takes some time to get everyone trained and all on the same page. With that said westopped for lunch last Friday afternoon. There was no wait at all and the place was packed! Our server did a great job and thefood was excellent! This place will probably be one that we visit weekly for lunch. Definitely worth the money for the qualityand portions. We are so excited they opened closer to us and don't have to drive as far anymore. Our server was amazing specially for just... opening less than a month ago. The chicken fry steak was tendered and great had a little spice to it. Love the broccoli cheesecasserole. The croissants are so good with the drizzle of a honey butter one word YUM! Read more

I was excited that they built a Cheddars closer to where I lived because before this I had to drive a long ways away. I decided... to go out to eat dinner with my wife and parents on a Friday night. When we arrived we were told there was a 30 minute wait and50 minutes later we were seated. I should mention that as we were waiting, the supervisor at the front counter was yelling andbeing extremely rude, berating the employees who seat you at the tables. We ordered and our food took a while to get there, butI didn't mind too much. The worse part was that none of the food we ordered tasted that good. My wife's steak for example wasordered medium rare and was absolutely well done. The manager of the restaurant, April, came to our table and apologized aboutthe wait and was very friendly and helpful. I would say she is the only thing going right for his location. At the end of theday I will not be coming back here until they work out some of their issues. Read more

My boyfriend & I ate here last night, the experience was pretty mediocre along with the food- you do get big quantities for the... price, though. Unfortunately, my bf got extremely sick the very next morning, he ordered the buffalo tender wrap & he said ittasted & looked fine, he also ate some of mine. I got the hot honey tenders & couldn't finish all of them because they tastedoff/undercooked a bit to me, personally. We just weren't tended to throughout the night as we would've liked & didn't get manyrefills or croissants (they ran out of croissants & we only got about 3 :( those are my fav too!!). We also had to get a newwaitress right after we got seated basically, the experience was sort of just off and I didn't like the fact that my bf gotreally sick from the food. Read more
