Creative dining experience that left you wanting something a little more. The dishes were unique & tasty - however none stood... out as ?WOW.? Not bad, but not super exciting. The drinks, however, were top-knotch. The atmosphere is where it fell flat forme. I was expecting a high-class, comfy environment - the place was open & loud; it felt like being in a chipotle. For the priceof the food, I think I had higher expectations. Overall, decent experience. Not horrible, but probably won?t be back. I?d say,give it a try for yourselves & see what you think! Read more

I want the first thing you read to be this: this is a phenomenal restaurant with a diverse staff, led by an amazing, young,... female, BIPOC manager (Precious). We received exceptional wait service from Allegra and Portia while Zack provided deliciousdrinks. The food was impeccable. That said, I would eat at the Black Walnut over and over and over and overagain. From the food to the service and its execution to bar service, everything here is on point. Bday dinner. All I?m going to say is I will be back more often than special occasions. I?m so happy Oklahoma has some realistic... and amazing food experiences available that you would expect from west or east coast fine dining restaurants. All of the diningexperience and individual components made this one of the best dining experiences in my 40+ years on this planet. Host Diningstaff Wait staff Drinks Bartender Chef ???????? Every person greeted us and gave us pointers on what they liked or recommendedfrom the menu. The ambiance was on point. I haven?t even gotten to the food. We had the rosemary toast with chèvre, peppers -love. Great portion size on the beef ribs, honey corn bread/hush puppies and kale salad. Tomahawk pork chop had the BEST sidedish of asparagus, mushrooms and Brussel sprouts. I could eat that by itself. ???? Also had the arugula salad with garbanzo,tomato, avocado, honey mustard. Everything was amazing. But wait, it keeps going The signature dessert I didn?t even get theproper description, but it tasted like a warm piece of rum cake with ice cream on top but the browned butter sugar sauce, freshberries and toasted granola. ???? Let me talk about our WOW experience! The service was fabulous???????????? The food was so perfectly made and our drinks were to... die for.
