Korean styled fried chicken! So crunchy and good, but cost way too much for fried chicken. Restaurant is very Americanized. It's... nice... We thought our chicken wasn't coasted enough with sauce so we asked for more and the waitress let us know that it wouldcost an extra $2.50 and we got about 10ml! Yikes. Waitress was adorable and friendly. Not a bad experience but I rather go to asmall mom and pop Korean restaurant (which would be more authentic, wallet friendly, and supporting of a small business) btw youdon't get all those side dishes you would get like at a real Korean restaurant. I arrived around noon, and it was already busy. Once I was directed to the correct register to place a to-go order. I learned... from the cashier that half of the side dishes they had on the menu were not available at the time; therefore, I was not able totaste the sweet potato fries, cheesling fries, or fried dumplings, and that was a Bummer. When it came to picking sauces, theyalso were out of many flavors. Break time for this establishment is from 2-4 pm, so call first before making the drive. Read more
I love this franchise. I?ve been to the one in K-Town NYC a lot and the one in las vegas. Just today i was so excited that u... guys open one in Oklahoma City. But i was not so happy about it. First of all, I ordered 8 pcs of chicken wings. It came only 7?And the chicken was not really crispy and turned out soggy so i had to air fryer them when i got home. Hopefully u guys worksomething out about this cause i really love your fried chicken and happy u guys open one here in Oklahoma. I will come back forsure. This wont stop me from coming back! I love this place! I?m really excited to have bb.q Chicken in OKC, especially in this area. I visited for the first time today,... and I experienced such great service from every single person I encountered! They were all so warm and inviting. The food wasdelicious! The Secret Sauce & Gangnam Style boneless wings were the highlight for me. Can?t wait to go back and try some more!The portions for everything were great. It was the 1st day of opening, so service got a bit behind. I was served the lunch combo, but our other order (1/2 original... chicken) didn't come out until 25 mins after. So we waited for food for about an hour. However, I did not rate it on the waittimes because I understand that day 1...1st week can be tough. I rated the food based on flavor. Would've given a 5 star had mycombo been hot (temperature). I'll come back in a month and give another honest opinion. Read more
The half and half chicken is very good. Fried chicken is super crunchy. We ordered wings of fire sauce on the side to see how... spicy it was but it is delicious and not too spicy. Maple crunch chicken is like caramel popcorn flavor and it was amazing! Thespicy flavors and sweet flavors go really well together. Absolutely recommend this place for authentic korean chicken! EDIT: I went back. The service was excellent and fast but the food was full of gristle and very dry chicken. Like a full 180... flip from the first time. Go somewhere else peeps. Very crispy chicken. Perfect crunch, the taste was on point and overall thefood was great! Understandably with only 2 days open the service was all over the place, will say that chef is back thereputting in work, pumping out food nonstop. He gets a 5 star review for sure...Will return here to re-review but for now afterwaiting an 1 hr & 45 min for my food I can't justify a 5 star rating, especially after seeing 4 tables get refunds and leave.
