Not sure what’s next.... —————————————— The Chicken in Szechuan Hot n Numbing isamazing. It has the strong Szechuan flavor & lots of chicken. The twice cook pork is authentic. Very delicious and authentic Chinese food. The best I've had in OKC so far. It is a little pricey but very tasty. Edit: There... are some reviews about the staff seeming standoffish. Of course I don't know the exact circumstances but the people who own andoperate the place are from China. There is a very different culture for waitstaff in China compared to the US. For instance,it's not normal to smile as strangers and usually they leave you alone until you need something at your table (usually you callfor the waiter or waitress in China). The waitstaff here definitely strike me as more like waitstaff in the US than waitstaffin China. But, I could see someone feeling uncomfortable if they don't have that experience. This was the most horrible dining experience I’ve ever had. We came in with a family of 7, they told us it would be a 10 to 20... minute wait. We told them it was fine and waited outside so we wouldn’t crowd the cashier area since it’s a smallrestaurant. Once we saw them cleaning a table, we went back inside to confirm that it would be ours, they said yes and it wouldtake 2 minutes to clean the table. They ended up giving the table to another group that came in after us. When I went to thecashier to speak with the same people that checked us in, they acted as if they didn’t remember us and then realized theirmistake and tried to clean another table for us. They did so in a rush and even though the table was still dirty, we still gavethem a chance because we knew it was busy. They did not have most of the food we ordered, they did not ask us if we wantedanything to drink, once the food came out, they did not give us any plates or utensils or napkins, I had to go up to the cashiera few times to request these things and ordered drinks because they never came to our table again, we waited and waited and theygave us chopsticks to eat our fried rice even though we had kids with us and we also ordered soup. No bowls or spoons. They didnot give us any of our drinks and when they finally did, they gave us 3 water bottles for a group of 7 people. At this point wewere over it and asked for to-go boxes and our check so we could leave. My son ended up getting the to-go boxes himself becausethey never came. And when we finally went to pay, we wanted to make sure we were only charged for 3 items because everythingelse we ordered was out of stock, the cashier gave us an attitude and asked in a snarky way if we wanted the receipt.
