Reviews for Anna's House - Okemos in Okemos, MI
1st time there , like the vibe inside 5stars fir that . Staff was very courteous. And friendly. I get five stars there as well... food I will give four stars food was good. My three star rating is a result of the cost $42 and some change for me and my wifeto have coffee big breakfast I had and my wife had avocado toast, with it look like poached eggs, no juices no food for anychildren because we didn?t have any just me and her. I realize the cost of things have gone up all over the place, and I am afirm believer of paying more and getting it right the first time . However, we are not in New York or an area where people canafford to pay 40 60 or $80 for the family to eat breakfast. That?s way too much money for anyone regardless of your incomestatus that?s the reason why are you up to three stars. I feel bad for anyone going there with their two children and trying toeat. I hope they make some changes perhaps children six and under eight free that is a family of four if it?s a family of fivesmall up charge of five dollars which seem reasonable this will bring the cost within affordability for the average person tocome in . Amazing service! The waiter was very kind and kept checking our drink status which is always good. The food was delicious and... their Spanish latte was the best! They have a wide selection of menu choices for special diets not usually catered to,including GF, dairy free, and Vegan! Their fresh squeezed OJ is delicious as is their oversized cinnamon rolls that are cut inhalf so you can create a sandwich. The price is a little steep but honestly not bad for a special diet option! Our group got there around 9:30am and we were initially told there was a 45 minute wait but somehow we got seated right away.... Three of us ordered an omelette so we could upgrade our side to the cinnamon roll. I loved my (The Dublin) corned beef, sausageand bacon omelette and the cinni roll was worth the $4 upgrade. Both huge and delicious. Our waitress came by multiple times torefill waters and coffees. Will definitely go back! Read more
Cute decor, friendly staff, and good food. Katie was our waitress and did a great job. Banana french toast was very good; be... sure you like a sweet breakfast and bananas because both things make this meal what it is. Sausage patties on the side werefresh and tasty, albeit a tad greasy. My wife had the Eggs Benedict with the corn beef and said it was good, too. We bothappreciated the fresh bread for the french toast and the English muffin for the Benny. Prices are a bit higher than you mightexpect but the portions are large. Like many restaurants these days, they could cut the volume of food and the price and itwould be just right. Many reviewers have commented on long wait times for a table and their food. We had neither, but we alsowent early on a Sunday. Read more
