Great couple doing really tasty BBQ. A small family operation. It?s a good change from some of the larger tourist trap... restaurants, if you want something different. Very casual. Small bar, with liquor and beer (not massive selection, butadequate). Read more

Awesome BBQ! Great service. Super Friendly staff. Pulled pork eggrolls are RIDICULOUS! The spicy BBQ ranch dipping sauce adds to... the flavor. Difficult to find good BBQ anywhere in New England, this is a place to stop for sure!! The owner gave us a sample ofthe smoked wings.... also awesome. Will definitely return here again. Read more

Incredible!! Really good BBQ is hard to find but Smokey's absolutely nailed it! From the coleslaw with cilantro, the burnt ends... (yum!) and the melt in your mouth pulled pork, everything was fantastic. The show stopper for us was the pulled pork egg rolls.OH MY GOODNESS you HAVE to try them. I could have eaten those pork rolls EVERY DAY ???? Thanks Smokey's B's, we'll see you soon???????????? Read more

I?m always on the lookout for some good BBQ. Stopped in the local restaurant for a change of pace in a market that?s dominated... by seafood and Italian cuisine. This is a family run brick and mortar restaurant and bar. Dear old dads picture is hangingproudly on the wall reminding us that everything in life has a humble beginning. I ordered a good amount of food to have theproper experience including brisket burnt ends, pork shoulder(pulled pork), smoked wings and 1/2 rack of ribs. The porkshoulder was tender, flavorful and moist, the brisket was the same. The house made sauces complimented the pulled pork reallywell, especially the spicy sauce. The baby back ribs had a really good bark, was tender but not so tender it fell immediatelyoff the bone. It had a great bite, which is what you want in a rib. I?m a bigger fan of St. Louis style but these baby backs hitto spot for us. The smoked wings were cooked to the right tenderness, however as with all the food items they were missing avaluable component; Smokey flavor. I tasted slight notes reminiscent of oak and it was very mild but nothing of apple, cherry, mesquite or even hickory. I?m not saying it should have all those notes but maybe a little experimenting with more wood in thelive-fire. The coleslaw was nice and mild with a nice peppery bite. The cornbread was lacking in moisture, It seemed verybasic. This is a nice family run place and they are hard working. If you?re looking for something that isn?t lobster or friedseafood then give these folks a shot. The food stands out for sure and they have a great chance to succeed if this market willrealize that there?s other options such as Smoky B?s Gin Mill and BBQ. Read more
