My husband and I absolutely LOVE this place. We come to Maine from Worcester, MA every summer for vacation and Food For Thought... is always our first stop. The food is not only unique, it?s delicious! The staff is always so welcoming and friendly and thebar tenders come up with the best cocktails. We?ve had a couple of chances to chat with the owner and he is such a wonderfulguy. We always recommend FFT to everyone we know who?s traveling to Maine and we will continue to be loyal customers! Keep upthe great work!!! Read more

The chicken and waffles was OK. The chicken was drowned in maple syrup so the crunch was dad. The waffle was way to sweet to my... taste. I think when I order C&W I expect savory dish with a hint of sweet what I?ve got was a desert with a taste of chicken. The presentation was excellent. Read more

Great reviews and the rustic patio setting capture our attention of ?Food for Thought?. Our experience for dinner was subpar,... however . While the patio is very welcoming, the seating is really uncomfortable. The service was fine, but our mains mealswere quite bland. I had the Nashville Chicken Sammie (Honey Fried Chicken sandwich); it had a good portion of white meat, butthe mix of honey/spice did not work for me. As for My partner?s Ribeye burger, it was okay. The charred bacon jam and agedcheddar did not taste much. This is obviously our appreciation; the crowd around looked happy with their experience . For us,it was underwhelming. Read more

This place is great. I had their shrimp tacos and salad with an add on of chicken, and both were out of this world. I am from... Brooklyn and often enjoy tacos from authentic places, so I know a thing or two about how they should taste. The seasoning/saucewas delicious. I was initially a little skeptical given the appearance of the place but after sitting down realized there was ahidden charm to it. The servers were particularly considerate and kind. To anyone in the area who is looking for boldly-flavoredfood go here! Read more

What a wonderful little brunch place. Loved the patio! I got an eggs benedict that was delightfully spicy. We were looking for... somewhere that had good dedicated gluten-free options, and my family members who have celiac had no problems! Thank you, Foodfor Thought! Read more

Went here for a quick lunch and had perfect weather to dine in their outdoor space. The menu is creative and every meal was... perfect. The chicken and waffle cones and donut grilled cheese were awesome and unique. Will be back soon!! Read more

It?s a cool place.. outdoorsy, limited seating and prepared by a Celeb Chef. All that bothered me was super limited non-meat... options. I could just order these corn and fries which were non-meat. Rest of all the options can not be made without meat. Sothat was something I was a little disappointed about. The drinks are okayish. But the seating, ambience wise was the deal here. It?s small and cozy! Read more

This place was GREAT! Wanted something a bit ?different? from the typical, heavily breaded, drenched in butter seafood dinner.... Three of us had the Rib-eye burger with lobster on top. All three were cooked perfectly and packed with flavor. My sonproclaimed, ?best burger of my life!? My daughter, who?s picky as picky gets, had the lobster ravioli and ate the whole meal.Speaking of kids? Ian, our waiter, was fantastic with the kids and accommodated all of their ?demands?! The only complaint (andit?s not really anything they can change) would be more parking as the lot was a bit small. I guess at the same time it could beconsidered a compliment that it was full the entire time we were there. Will definitely be back the next time we visit coastalMaine! *****FIVE STARS!***** Read more
