A 3 for the coffee, 2 for the food. If you want a truly average or below average coffee shop, this is for you. Incredibly hard... to chew bagels, spread the cream cheese or jam yourself (not to mention they charge extra for jam and hand you smuckers packetsLOL). Latte was nice Read more

A long line that went outside the front door was the first good sign that this was a great place and the food and coffee... confirmed our choice. Many different coffee options from drip to espresso, dark to medium blends, with regular and decaf - thecoffee was delicious - BARD coffee beans from Portland, ME. The egg bacon and cheese sandwich on a bagel was a decent option forsome morning protein. Finally, a great outdoor space to sit and enjoy breakfast on the side of the building made the trip (andwait) totally worth it! Read more

My 2nd favorite coffee in town, dark roast wasn't as deep a flavor as I prefer but was very good. Line gets very long, but staff... is fast and polite. Shout out to the Wells Warriors tshirted barista Read more

Coffee was on the pricey side, which was expected. $8.75 for a breakfast sandwich is outrageous though. I ordered it on a plain... bagel(they were out of everything), only to find out after we left that i was given a brioche roll instead. We happily wentelsewhere the next morning Read more

Heard good things, but this place was a rip off. The staff was friendly and nice, the flavor of the breakfast sandwich on... everything bagel was pretty good (bacon was nice and crispy and fairly thick cut)... But that's about the best of it all. I'venever seen such a small bagel sandwich for $9. Again, the taste was good (not great) and the value was terrible. I posted apicture of half of the sandwich next to a standard ketchup packet for size comparison. Laughable. My GF ordered a drop coffeewhich was alright and a plain bagel, egg, with hummus which also was fine flavor but again tiny bagel. Now the mostdisappointing part. I'm a big coffee drinker, I brew my own cold brew and nitro on a weekly basis and frequent coffee shops allover when I travel. They have Bard coffee here which I love and often get when out in Portland Maine. I asked if they hadnitro and the staff seemingly didn't know what I was asking for, so I opted for a double iced Americano with lite ice so it'd beless watered down... The Americano was the most watered down I've had. It barely tasted anything more than murky coloredwater. I honestly thought they gave me the wrong item. I've had Americanos at Bard and they were great. Here, totaldisappointment. Overall I would not waste my time here. There are many other spots around that are slightly less popular andfar better both in quality and value. Bums me out but I guess my expectations were a bit too high after hearing so many goodthings about this place. Now off to go get an actual real coffee to satisfy my need for a GOOD morning coffee. Great little place for coffee, sandwiches, salads, baked goods & specialty drinks, just shy of the coast. We were greeted warmly... and made to feel welcome and at ease, in spite of a rush that started just as we arrived. They went out of their way to makeours a delightfully relaxing and pleasant dining experience. The interior is casual and eclectic, but patio dining is the bestchoice in good weather. Staff members are responsive to questions about food allergies, sensitivities and ingredient sourcing --and considerate of diners concerned about what's in their food. For an especially memorable visit, take a walk down the nearbyfoot path to the beach, and enjoy the extraordinary view while you finish your coffee! Read more
