The staff was very friendly and the inside beautiful but the food was just ok. I got the prime rib special with the crab sauce.... It was ok but i think over priced and when I ordered I was asked if I wanted gravy for my potatoes and I said yes and then foundout when I got the bill you get charged extra for gravy and I think you should be told that when ordering. Again the food was okbut wasn?t anything great and I think it?s a little over priced for sure. My boyfriend got the Canadian burger and when he gotit he went to put ketchup on it and there were only 2 tiny pieces of cheese curd on it and very few French fries. So again veryunderwhelming. I just can?t emphasize enough that I think the dinner specials are extremely over priced. The burger my boyfriendgot is reasonably priced. But I paid 28.99 for a dinner special that wasn?t very good and then was unknowingly charged 2.00extra dollars for gravy. Which wouldn?t be a big deal if I had been told it was extra. nice patio, good food, great drinks, even better servers.
We were a party of eight, reservations for 5:00. We sat outside for a beverage, and then went inside for dinner. It was so warm... in the back room (no AC), we ended up going back outside. Our meals were generally very good! I had pesto chicken and shrimpAlfredo, which was 5*. My husband had the prime rib Oscar, which was 4+*. We also had calamari, which was not worth the highprice. Very average...some pros and cons. Overall, service was good (given covid state) but a bit slow. We ordered a beer and it sat... at bar for 15+ minutes... thankfully when we asked the server realized it was warm and poured a cold one. A local recommendedthe Tsunami roll so we thought we would give it a try but it was not good. Way too much rice and batter and so much grease. Isuppose ordering sushi this far north is just not a great idea. It was very filling, so much I could barely eat my meal. Evenjust half the rice would make it more palatable. We got a burger and sandwhich, they were also average. Not bad by any meansbut not amazing. I personally didn't care for the fries but the tots were good. I was in the same party as Zach Brown; I hadn't planned on writing this review until I saw the owner's petty response to his... (seriously, check out their replies to negative reviews - they're hilarious when you haven't wasted your money here). As Zachsaid, the waitress was awesome. She accommodated our request to move tables for a better view (note that we were literally theonly patrons there not seated at the bar) and suggested a delicious drink for my girlfriend (the best part of the meal). Thesecond star is solely for her. The food was gross. Three of us ordered the steak (mine medium rare, the other two medium), oneof us ordered the steak sandwich, and the other two ordered pasta and chicken. All four of us sent our steaks back because theythey were so under cooked. When we got them back, we couldn't detect any difference (our running theory is that they were thrownin the microwave). I posted a photo of my steak and Zach's steak sandwich - note that the blood you can see on the plate is fromAFTER it was sent back to be more cooked. The pasta was partially cold as well. Based on the other reviews (which definitelydeceived us), if you must come here, I would avoid anything more expensive than a burger. To the owner, if you really areshocked by our experience, our meal was on May 30th between 8 PM and 10 PM and we suggest you fire anyone who cooked that night.To everyone else, you have been warned. We had dinner and drinks at Bayside today. The pretzel was a good shareable appetizer and all the entrees were tasty. Very good... service too. Mixed drinks were so good! Try the strawberry daiquiri and ask for it with Malibu rum. So good. Loved the patiodining area with views of the St. Lawrence River! Glad we came! Read more
Food was very underwhelming and disappointing. The free breed was delicious along with mozzarella moons. However, The Canadian... Burger and tater totes were? disappointing. I had 3 bites of burger and maybe 5-6 tots. I think fryers oil needed changingbecause totes had a weird taste. Burger was very underwhelming with zero taste or effort (gravy, fries, cheese curd, burger andbun), it sounds good, right? Well it wasn?t. Had a great view of River and waitress was very sweet and quick, just disappointedin a $65 meal for two + $15 tip ($80 total). My BF got prime rib special, and said it was OK. Learned it was $30 once checkcame. He took most home and ate it, unlike mine, I threw it away. Won?t be eating here again. Read more
