I came last night and again today with my little girl. The service both times we?ve received has been outstanding. The server we... had last night, set the expectation that they were busy and there were a few tables ahead of us. They were on top of refillingmy beverage and making sure we were okay. The sever also kept us up on how much longer our food would be. The food is so savoryand delicious and make really good left overs as well. We met the owners wife and she is warm and welcoming. Today when Ireturned with my daughter, and we had a different server but she was still amazing. Kept up with our drink refills, made surethat we were okay. They also gave my daughter a coloring page and some crayons. When our food came, it was outstanding. Theyonce again kept on top of our drinks and made sure we were satisfied. Food was pretty good. I had the chicken parm, hubs had the steak, and we tried the meatballs. Meatballs were delicious. Was told... the wait time for a calzone would be 30 - 45 min. We ended up waiting about that long for our food anyways. Decor could use someupdating. Staff was wonderful and super friendly! We waited about 15 minutes for a table on a Saturday night which isn't toobad. Read more
If you'd like some excellent Italian food & an intimate setting with incredibly professional & personable staff, give this place... a try! Wow! Was I blown away! Every dish was delish! Try the noodles in white sauce-- I've never had anything like it! Thecarrot vinaigrette is a unique venture-- you have to experience it for yourself! Try the eggplant, it's divine! The staff stoodout as being exceptional. Wow, were they ever kind & went above & beyond to keep us informed while we waited to be seated,suggesting main dishes, keeping our drinks topped off, & staying friendly & on top of everything at once. This place looked super cute so thought why not give it a try. The service was pretty good but the food was not. The salad was... wilted/brown and nothing special. The garlic bread had no hint of garlic. I got the egg plant parmigiana?I couldn?t even tellit was egg plant. It was like a frozen dish they thawed out and slapped sauce on. Not good at all. The sauces were watery andnot full of Italian flavors. You do get a decent portion of food. My husband got the lasagna and was shocked that it waslacking in cheese. My kids got pasta dishes and no one wanted to bring home their left overs. For the price I paid I wouldhave expected better food. It was actually really not good for the $80 I spent. The portions are nice but the flavors arelacking. I am giving this 3 stars because the waitress was so nice. The food was actually 1 or 2. Unfortunately I will not gohere again. Read more
Ordered take out from La Ferrovia almost two weeks ago. Arrived a few minutes after the time they said it would be done and... waited another 20 minutes for it to be done. Drove home to South Ogden and found they had shorted us on of our dinners. I calledand told them what happened. They told me I could come back and they would make it for me. Doesn?t work when I have family herefor dinner 20 minutes away from the restaurant. They finally offered me a refund for the meal. I agreed to that, but 10 dayslater, no sign of a refund. Started off strong! Was seated fast but from there was down hill fast. Waitress was busy talking to a regular that had a nasty... dog ?service? dog in attendance. She took our order, when ask about the vinaigrette she said they don?t have a vinaigrette, Ireplied with what is available and she said that a carrot vinaigrette was the house dressing. Really?!?!?! She took our orderand food came out promptly. My lasagna came out cold in the middle! My wife ordered a beef with meat sauce. Never saw squaredpiece of meat before! Both plates had warm ketchup and very salty tomato sauce on it. Very unpleasant!!! Day old bread waspresided with dinner. Stay away. Frozen garbage! Olive Garden is 100% better then this place!!!!!!! Great experience! Owner/ cook come out asked what we liked and recommend dishes based off our answers. Food was awesome. My... husband and I love the white sauce. Service and staff were amazing. We will definitely go again. Read more
