Reviews for Andy's Club in Ogden, UT

After hearing about how great of a staple this is in Ogden I figured I would try it out after living here for 24 years. I guess... i had my expectations too high? 17 bucks for a variety plate that was mostly just bread. Enough bread for Jesus to feed a wholetown. And the amount of feta cheese was unholy, it was a huge stick that a normal person wouldn?t eat. (See attached). If I wereyou I would save my time and money and go to the Greek at the Newgate mall. I don't know what to say about this place. I saw incredible reviews so decided to go since I love Mediterranean food. It's more... of an Greek Inspired American restaurant. They sell steak instead of Gyro meat. The rice is delicious and the Cheese Trianglesare to die for. Also, the Dolmatas are huge and they have meat in them... never seen those before and they are amazing. Just fora Greek advertised restaurant, it is not very Greek. Read more

We stumbled upon Andy?s and it was the best meal we have had during 3 weeks in Spain. Perfect and tasty Greek food. Lovely... location and all around great value. We loved it so much we are going back with our family of six for a second time in a week. Read more

So I've lived in North Ogden for 10 years and just barely tried Andy's Club. It has a lot of hype from everyone I've talked to... and everyone I know loves the place. I would probably have given it 3 stars for my experience with the food, except the staffwere excellent and it was a clean and good natured establishment, so I bumped it up a star because they were very friendly. Thatsaid, the meat was also really good, but the rice was way too lemon-flavored for my liking. And the price for the amount of foodyou get is a bit much. I ordered the gyro dish and it cost $14. The gyro was delicious, but the rice has me pretty turned off asit was way too potent of a lemon flavor. My wife ordered the pork skewer for $14, and a lot of her meat was pretty grisly, though the meat she did get tasted really good! In the end, I'm not convinced it was worth the cost. She also got the rice andhad no desire to finish it. We were both still hungry by the end of the meal, partially from not wanting to finish the rice. That's just my 2 cents, others may like it more or have better experiences. I also had high expectations because my first Greekfood experience was excellent, and this was subpar for me. I wish Andy's Club the best though! And if you go there, I hope youlike it more than I did. Just please remember to be kind to your servers and tip well :) Read more

Andy's Dark Dirty Bar - This is more bar than restaurant. Very dark, almost entirely lit by neon beer signs. - Dirty sticky... tables - Fountain drinks are flat and taste very old - Understaffed and not very friendly - I bring my own energy drinks with meto restaurants as most don't have any and this this the first time I wasn't allowed to drink my own drink. - Salads all whitecore of iceberg head - dressing has almost no flavor - Tiny plates, no room for ketchup - Home made but soggy fries - Had to goto the bar for refills - Very cheap food, and that explains the 70+ year old demographic - very few parking spaces that arealways full Read more

Dinner was quite tasty, as always! If you don't know this place, you need to go! The pork souvlaki is my favorite, but... everything on their menu is delicious. They have a good selection of beer and a full bar. Don't forget homemade baklava fordessert! Read more
