Came in at 9:15. Guy in front of me orders a burger since she said cook is still in back cooking other tickets. She goes and... checks kitchen if it?s ok he orders a burger, comes back and takes his order. She then comes to serve me. I tried to order aburger and get told kitchen is closed and he was last order.. I mean, what?s the difference from one burger vs two? I justwanted a bite to eat and some beer. Whatever? Read more
I believe this is under a new owner? I like the food. They checked on me regularly. Love the Scotch Eggs, one of the main... reasons I go. Can't get those anywhere else I know of. The bartender made a great Long Island Tea for me. The waitress was supernice. I really dig the meatloaf and potatoes! Will keep going back unless things change. The reason I took one star away, iswhen you walk in you get the big stare from everybody at the bar. Bartender does a head nod. I wish they would greet you, like,' Hey!, welcome to Shamrocks, sit anywhere you like, we will be right with you." Instead you just stagger in and look around andfind a seat, and wait. Read more
Best burger every!!!! The chef salad is huge and the service is outstanding! The owner personally stops by to chat which is... great! Cannot recommend this place enough! Prices are great too. Read more
I have mixed feelings about this place. The scotched eggs and Colcannon were excellent. The Irish meatloaf needs a better... narrative description of it on the menu. It was something that I have never ever ate before and I like meatloaf but not thiskind of meatloaf. I would have ordered something else if I would have realized how highly seasoned this was. Ate there with 2 friends Aug 9 and we were all impressed. The Chef did a great job. Food was excellent. The Reuben was very... tasty and portion was very generous; both friend took half home. Likewise with the fish and chips; the fish was a very generousportion and it tasted freshly fried, the crust was light but crispy;very well prepared. I took home more than half. The waiter-Aaron was excellent. Efficient, knew the food menu and beverage offerings without hesitation , and responded to friendly banterwhen we initiated it. This was by far the best bang for the buck for lunch for miles around. I had the fish an chips. The fish had a nice beer... battered crunch to it and was moist and flaky inside ,the chips were huge and thin cut but had a nice snap to them also ,( Iprefer a little more seasoning on mine than what came out but the bartender did rush back and got me a side of buffalo sauce) .Ididn't do a beer because I was on my bike or any of the many they have on the rails . From when I walked in and was greeted tolooking at the menu to food arriving couldn't have been a whole ten minutes try it you'll like it . Read more
