Was here last Friday spent about 65.00 and overall food was ok. My al pastor tacos were very tough n chewy. But we needed about... 4 to go boxes n 2 sauce cups. We waited about 15 mins thenasked another waitress which never came back. My daughter finally wentto the front and got them for us. Basically we had 1 person bring chips and take the order but nobody ever came back to check onthe food or refill our drinks. Needless to say his tip was reflected on hid lack of NO service. Super disappointed! We have been coming here for 5 years and have sent friends and family here! Tonight was awful! It was like... the 2 servers in the restaurant were in a fight and we got stuck in the middle of it! We were sat and told the other guy was ourserver. He took our order and then literally did not come to our table all night. We had to ask the busser after 30 minutes ifour queso was ready which he graciously got for us. We asked random employees twice if they could grab our server for us,however our server NEVER came to our table even after asking.Then an hour after we order food we asked if it was ready, whichafter we asked they went and got for us. Mine came out cold in the middle. We then asked to speak with the manager which I do tthink there was one on staff because the first time we asked we were told that there was a helper. Then after asking to speakwith the manager again, the other server came and pretended to be the manager, but didnt take any accountability and didn?t evengive a good excuse. He even said they couldn?t remake my order in a timely manner! Then they seemed to have charged us for kidsmeals even though kids eat free on Tuesdays! I would have walked out without paying after that terrible of an experience, but Ididn?t want to set a bad example for my kids. I am so disappointed because this used to be our go-to spot. What an underrated gem of a restaurant. From the outside, this place looks tiny, but don't let that fool you. The inside is good... sized. The menu is pretty standard Mexican fare. I've had the chicken quesadilla and chicken nachos. They were both excellent.The frozen margaritas are the bomb. They have excellent weekly specials. Went there on a Monday and got a percentage off mybill. The staff are friendly and very hard working. They were constantly running around and making sure guests were taken careof even though we went during a slower Monday lunch time. Read more

Best Mexican in O?Fallon! Staff is always friendly. Food is always hot, spicy if wanted, and well-seasoned. Margaritas are... strong! We have tried half the menu at this point and not a bad dish yet! Had the veggie quesadilla, Pollo Azteca, and Fajitanachos today. Also, Fridays have cheaper ($9-ish) Blue Curacoa and El Presidente margaritas. Best margaritas ever! Read more
