While the food was good, the restaurant was dirty. The front windows were not clean. The menus we were given were stained.
I am sad to give a poor review of this place as it has been my favorite for the last year. Some of the best steaks I have ever... eaten was right here. 2 months ago, it took an hour and twenty minutes to get some of our salads. (They forgot one.) We walkedbefore our food came out. The manager gave us gift certificates for each of us and no charge for that meal. Today we triedagain. I ordered a rare porterhouse. Not only did it arrive well done, but also extremely dry. The char on the outside was verybitter. The waitress saw they were bad immediately and stated that we were all getting new steaks and left those with us if wewanted them. They were inedible. The second round arrived perfectly cooked, but the bitter metallic taste remained. Two bitesinto our new steaks and we were done. Hopefully they can figure out their business and get it together again, but I don't seemyself coming back. They knew they messed up and they wanted to make it right, so 2 stats instead of 1. The food was lovely and the drinks were well made, the atmosphere is comfortable and friendly. My only complaint is the steak... isn?t super flavorful, they are great cuts and cooked to perfection, but just a tiny sprinkle of salt or SOMETHING would begreat, especially with the price you?re paying. We had a great experience at longhorn tonight. The food was excellent, we both had steaks that came out perfect. We also had the... brisket queso which was amazing. The service was fast and friendly and the beer was ice cold. Great place for date night! Read more
