We wanted somewhere to eat before our Ferry to Cedar Island. My husband wanted some ?real? seafood. We parked at the ferry and... walked over at about 11am. We were seated quickly right on the water and had a short wait for our food. He said his fish wasgrilled perfectly and my chicken sandwich was the same (seasoned well also!). The four of us ate for under $75.00 which ispretty unheard of at a seafood restaurant in tourist season. Thanks for a great experience! Read more

Fun & lively outdoor waterfront restaurant. Staff are all friendly and helpful, quick with the drinks. Of course the seafood is... fresh, tasty and done to perfection. Grab a Tshirt around back with the dock master and say hi to his friendly pupper. Don'tmiss this place when on island. Read more

Absolutely delicious! My husband and I both had the seafood dinners with two choices (shrimp/oysters and fish /shrimp) and all... was so tasty. Honestly if I could go back we would have both gotten fried oysters?. Best on the island. We loved the laid backatmosphere and seeing someone cleaning/filleting fish (separate from the restaurant) on a dock. This island is really awesomeand you can tell the locals take pride in it. On our trip along the east coast we had the idea to drive the Outerbanks (OBX) as well. Here we are more or less stranded in... Ocracoke because on the day no more ferry drove. We went to Smacnelly's for dinner and got an excellent shrimp plate. Youtasted that it was fresh shrimp and these were also prepared super. Fortunately, we came in time, it was already relatively fulland it was closed at 8 o'clock. We recommend it to come to smacnellys ! Read more

Love coming here and watching the action. You can watch the boats come and go while enjoying a beer or grubbing out. Honestly... everything here is really good. The chicken is amazing. Taco Bowl was really good. I always come home with a stack of plasticcups. Read more

Great location. Scenic views right on the harbor. Great service and really good food. Ordered the Shrimp Po'Boy which came out... on a bun instead of a hoagie roll like I've only ever had, not sure if that's an Outer Banks thing but it was the best shrimpsandwich I've ever had. Read more

Great patio bar. Would be there everyday if I could or if I was a local. Great views of the marina and just a mellow spot to... sit, drink and eat some lunch. We had blackened mahi featured sandwich and mango/shrimp wrap?. Both were excellent. Read more

Always very busy. Popular spot, especially the bar. Great sunset view and friendly staff. Food was okay, but pricey for the... quality and portion. Had a great experience a few years ago where they cooked meals from the fish we caught on an excursion. Read more
