We have been coming to the island for the last 15 years and this is the first time we have tried Howard's pub. We walked in on a... busy day and got to a table right away. The food and wait staff were excellent. Just make sure you bring your wallet. A kidsmeal consisting of 2 chicken tenders and 4 hush puppies was 12 dollars. Read more
A goos staple in Ocracoke you have to visit. The local food is good but you need to be prepared for a wait, especially if you... have a party. This is the first food stop after the Ocracoke ferry so it's always going to be packed during ferry hours. Read more
Service was great during our lunch. My fried clam strips were very tasty. Prices what I would expect in a remote tourist town.
An ABSOLUTE must! You made it to the island! You have to hit Howard?s Pub! I have to be honest the food blew us away. If... you?re in the mood for a burger check out the Carolina Burger! Without question this is a must stop if you find your self staying at Ocracoke Island. Not only the food but the overall... experience was amazing. I wish I took more pictures. The customer care, attention to keeping our tables clear and beveragescoming, server was on point. The Raw Oysters did not disappoint in your a fan. The tuna, the fish of the day, were so deliciousand perfectly cooked, I'm ready to go back. You owe to your self to check this place if you visit the island. Read more
I?m here slightly off-season and this place is packed with room to spare. I got the grilled offshore fresh fish of the day which... was mahi mahi. The shrimp roll appetizer and it came out really fast considering the number of people. Great service by Peter. Read more
We usually stop here when we visit Ocracoke and it?s good, consistent food. However, a few of the clam strips were not fully... cooked and had raw dough. The macaroni & cheese had no flavor whatsoever. The redeeming factor was the crab & shrimp dipappetizer. Read more
