Let me just say I was prepared to be impressed, the place is clean, Nessa is nice and the food smelled terrific. Portions we... good. BUT, 1/2 rack of the ribs were really tough. 2nd half were good. Sauce was phenomenal. Baked beans superb. Coleslawwas unique. Chicken and ribs were well smoked but they tasted like charcoal starter(fuel) as if the wood smoker was not allowedto burn off the fuel before loading the food. Also the pulled pork was really dry. Overall I would probably go to Sonny?s orPorkies in the future unless I wanted cheesecake. The cheesecake here looked good. Read more
I ordered the smoked beef sausage on a bun w/ onion/peppers... so good. I tried to take a photo but it didn't last long enough.... I had to eat the whole thing as fast as I could shovel it in my mouth. Don't sleep on Nessas' yall! Read more

The food was delicious! Oh my goodness! I will definitely be going back! The ribs were juicy and wonderfully seasoned, the mac n... cheese had me speechless, and the backed beans had me wanting more. OMg! Looking for a BBQ place and found this jewel. Great BBQ had the ribs, with Mc and Cheese and took home some pull pork..... great deal too. Also have some chesecake from the in shop, ocoee chesecake shop, super rich and creamy. Read more
Recently step into this little jewel. The place was Smokey, a little small, but very neat and tidy. Ordered the ribs, chicken,... collard greens with Mac and cheese. The greens where cooked exactly like my moms (check) and the Mac and Cheese wascheesy! Honestly, I enjoyed the chicken more than the ribs. The chicken fell off the bone and was textured and flavored. Theribs where the same except, I had more fat on the back pieces than I like. Next time I?ll pay more attention to what I?m beingserved to ensure I get a more even flavor. I know they have what I like. The sauce is well balanced and tangy! Yummy! Otherthan that, if you are cruising through DT Ocoee please stop in. I think you will be pleased. I certainly was! Wow! I've been to every BBQ place in Orlando (most of them more times than I care to admit!) and this one blows them away. What... amazing ribs! Obviously slowly smoked to perfection over hours, with a slight crust, but incredibly succulent center, withoodles of meat. The half-rack portion is very generous and well-priced. The BBQ sauce, served on the side, is a perfect balanceof sweet, tangy and spicy. Pulled pork is also tender and tasty. The baked beans have a rich sauce and tender chunks of meat,and just a hint of spice. Usually I add BBQ sauces to baked beans, but these didn't need it. It's counter service, and friendlyservice at that. There's just one table inside, and one on the lawn out front, but there's also parking in the rear. This is acozy little downtown area of Ocoee, so a pleasant place to eat outside. Read more
